Premier Inn Thurrock East Hotel

The hotel receptionist, Anika, has been really helpful on my last 2 visits to this hotel for work. She got me a room near to my work colleague, couldn't do enough to help, and made the check in expirence a dream. She is an asset to the hotel and too Premier Inn. She has brilliant customer service skills.

Cobwebs in room. Bed bugs on my children beds. We came back with loads of bedbug bites. Toilet blocked. Carpets very very dirty and very old. Would need deep cleaning. My children left with rashes all over. When my daughter went to complain, she was just given spare bedsheets. Breakfast was not buffet, we did not see what we wanted to eat, we had to order, scrambled eggs were just like water porchcooked eggs, tasteless. Had to pay for packing £7 per night when it should be included on the price. Guests upstairs kept on banging on their floor(our room ceiling) Total waste of money honestly. The customer service and cleaners were very kind and professional.

What can I say, this hotel is shocking (will not be visiting ever again) I was in absolute astonishment when I found a long black hair on my chips in the brewers fayre opposite us, and to top it all off it smelt of **** in my room, and in the corridor. I was greeted earlier that night with another long black hair on my pillow. It was disgusting and made me feel sick. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL!!!!!!! HIGHLY DANGEROUS!! We also had children with us on this stay and this hotel is not safe. We witnessed many things whilst at this hotel that children should not come into contact with. upon leaving the hotel this morning there was a pile of vomit just outside the entrance of the hotel. The poor girl on reception also had to press her panic button to call the police at 10pm due to threatening behaviour and feeling unsafe.
