La Terrazza is a holiday home located in Cetona, Italy, in southern Tuscany, at the intersection of Umbria and Lazio. Marco and Margherita, a middle-aged couple, and their two children are the owners. Fall in love with this property they have been looking for for a long time, after being fascinated by the village and its countryside.
Cetona is considered one of the most beautiful and exclusive villages in Italy (it has been voted as one of the most picturesque Italian villages). Located less than two hours from Rome and Florence, La Terrazza is centrally located for exploring the whole of Tuscany, Umbria and central Italy. Siena, Montepulciano, Pienza, Orvieto, Assisi, Perugia, Arezzo are just some of the most popular cities in the world within a short drive.
Dominated by the homonymous mountain, Cetona is a tiny medieval Tuscan village par excellence with about 3000 inhabitants. It is surrounded by countless picturesque villages, famous spas (San Casciano dei Bagni at 10 km and Bagno Vignoni at 35 km, also accessible in winter), prehistoric sites (the archaeological site of Belverde) and traces of the passage of San Francesco (two wonderful abbeys within walking distance).
