It is a very good hotel, especially for all the people who work there, but the hotel needs total renovation it's a very old hotel.

Stayed for two nights for company business trip. Less than USD 150 tax inc. for two nights with breakfast!! For the price I paid I have no complain at all, with all the musty smell from the bed and the room, as well as clogged shower (can't stay in the shower longer than 5 min) Breakfast was totally satisfying in terms of volume and options --- taste ... can't complain again ... the price ↑. Smooth check-in. The hotel has been there longer than anybody could imagine so all cab drivers in Jakarta know how to get there --- very convenient.

Due to passport issues, this hotel is close to us embassy about 5 min cab ride.  Due flight delay, we checked in at 3 am to go the embassy at 8 am.  When we walk in room 1626 it was dripping water from the ceiling at the corridor in from of front door and bathroom.  Every time you go in and out of bathroom and room door, water will drip on you.  The hotel is old and has old charm.  Breakfast was just ok.

The hotel is charming and has a luxurious ambiance, although it lacks certain amenities typically associated with five-star establishments. Guests are offered complimentary beverages upon check-in. The lobby and lounge areas are spacious and adorned with beautiful Indonesian art and décor. The staff is friendly and welcoming, ensuring a pleasant stay for guests. While the location may not be ideal, it is worth noting that few hotels in Jakarta offer a prime location at this price point. The pool appeared inviting, though I did not have the opportunity to use it. Regrettably, the gym was closed during my visit. The breakfast buffet is truly exceptional, offering a wide variety of delicious options. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, featuring comfortable beds and large bathtubs.

I think for the price in the same location, it’s excellent. Very very old hotel, you get goosebumps at night walking the hallway. Overall ok but think management should spend some money to redo the place. What a waste.

Everything is fine,except restaurant services is very slow. Need improvement. Will still recommend for friends to stay in this hotel.

Was attending a business dinner there on a Friday night so invited some Indonesian friends and we booked a few junior suites and made a weekend. Hotel really nice just missed not being near or attached to a shopping mall but pool etc were great-my Indonesian friends enjoyed the breakfast-overall a great stay

Overall it was a great stay, but the facilities were very outdated! Because I'm vegan and it was a bit freaky to find a vegan breakfast but the breakfast had a wide variety of choices for my diet. Location wise it was also good, easy to walk to the national monument.

Good location, big room, , Good staff but very old hotel needs to be renovated, no gym facilities, swimming pool under rated.

We enjoyed the hotel and staff were helpful, good selection at breakfast and excellent cold draught beer at the bar. However when we left we asked the hotel to book a taxi for us to the high speed rail terminal at Halim. When the taxi arrived I asked the doorman to confirm to the driver where we were going. But the driver took us to halim airport not the high speed rail station and drove off before we realised. We then had to take another taxi to the rail station which took 15 minutes and cost the same as the taxi from the hotel. We were frustrated. A bit more attention to the request and conveying that would have saved us stress and expense. Otherwise a good stay.

This is not my 1st time stayed. I love the ambiance and the surrounding.
