Art Hotel

There was nothing massively wrong with the hotel - it is well positioned, has comfortable and clean rooms, service was fine - but for the price that’s what I was expecting. To score better I’d have expected a decent shower, not one that was leaking, and some solution for orange juice at breakfast, not just a sign saying that there wasn’t any! So not a bad place to stay, but it could easily be better!

We stayed here for a week. Service was friendly and helpful to us and everyone; staff on duty the most were Katya and Urh, who were great, and helped to make our stay enjoyable. Our room and bathroom were clean and the bed very comfortable. The weather was hot some days, but the air conditioning in our room was effective. The hotel has a really great location - very central, but quiet, with a small courtyard, and an easy and pleasant walk to lots of main attractions and beautiful architecture. It's not a big impersonal hotel, so the breakfast area isn't huge. Breakfast is included (cereals, scrambled egg, cold meat and cheese and bread, pickles, mini croissants, juice). Good coffee from the bar - charged as extra, but not expensive. Don't bother getting a taxi from the railway or coach station, as it's a relatively short distance and there are plenty of buses on the nearest main road. Suggestions: - The internet can be dicey at times and needs upgrading. - I think they could also make clear in the room what the daily housekeeping includes (bed re-made, used towels changed, bins emptied) and doesn't include (any tidying or cleaning). - Finally, at breakfast you can make a hot sandwich in a little panini press, but I think it would be great if they bought a pop-up toaster and placed it in a less precarious position! None of these small matters stopped us from having a great stay. We would be happy to recommend this hotel. We'd also be happy to stay again.

Clean and comfortable hotel with helpful staff and a good breakfast. Well located within short walking distance of all Ljubljana attractions. If you arrive after 10pm they leave your key for collection. Taxis drop you a couple of minutes’ walk away as it’s in the pedestrian zone, but there is a free transport service in the city if needed (we didn’t use it). Lots of restaurants/bars along the river 5 mins away.

Lovely hotel situated in a quiet area - perfect for the Cankarjev Dom congress centre and a short stroll into the City and down to the river. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable - and I slept well ! Breakfast in the morning was simple but just what I needed to start the day. Highly recommend this boutique hotel - and whilst taxis cannot drop you at the door it is only a short walk from the drop off/pick up point.

It is a small and cosy hotel on a very good location within Ljubljana: very central, but quiet at the same time. I think the high price of the hotel must be mainly because of the location, because for the rest I think the price/quality proportion is small and there are way better options in Ljubljana. It felt like I was staying in a budget hotel, which did not correspond to the prize. Rooms are quite small and in my case without a view as the view would be on the inner terrace, hence with no privacy. The room was very clean, however, first night it wasn't cleaned (for me personally not so much of a problem, but as they advertise they do and considering the price, i would have expected so). The breakfast is very poor (just some bread and toppings) and I find it ridiculous that you have to pay extra for fresh orange juice or coffee. Service is ok, some staff members are really helpful and friendly, but for checkout we felt ignored and had to wait really long until we could finally do so.

Purtroppo devo dare una stella. Appena arrivati, nella nostra stanza, c’era una macchia di umido enorme sulla moquette dovuta al condizionatore che perdeva. Abbiamo prontamente segnalato il problema, ma non avevano altre stanze e non hanno potuto ripararci il condizionatore. La stanza aveva un pessimo odore di moquette bagnata e, in più, era impossibile spegnere il condizionatore. Abbiamo dormito con acqua che colava e freddo. Per una stanza pagata oltre 500 euro per due notti è assolutamente inaccettabile. In più in camera, sulle finestre, c’era l ragnatele e sugli asciugamani capelli. Non serve aggiungere altro. Faremo richiesta di risarcimento tramite Booking.
