Hotel Gran Caribe Villa Marinera is essentially a lodging for fishermen, it overhangs the mangrove lagoons worker Cuban people, "El Pueblo" at the end and north of Cayo Largo, away from the comforts for tursimo. It is a primary supply for fishermen who arrive as part of a tour package fishing. This accommodation is just a few yards walk from the Marina Cayo Largo - accessible by boat trips outside floors bones.
The center of it all is a simple wooden hut, decorated with pictures of fishermen and other miscellany of fish. It must be said, that the simple restaurant serves fresh seafood, mainly. Taberna del Pirata bar is a pleasant outdoor bar with a nautical theme, and guests can kick up your heels with the workers of Cuban hotels in the nearby nightclub La Carpa. I came to Villa Marina. on the recommendation of a couple of my friends. They recommended it to me because I came alone and it was really what I needed, something small, very private and quiet, I especially loved the treatment of the staff, their butler Maddy was great enough to take us home, really guys, everyone is special. It was a new experience for us, we really liked the parties, especially in the disco, because at night the mosquitoes are a bit uncomfortable at this time, so I advise you to bring insecticide. The rooms are very comfortable and we made a new friend, a small iguana that lives in the villa with everyone. Anyway, I advise you to visit it, first class service and excellent barbecues at the buffet and it is air-conditioned. We will return.

The rooms are perfect especially for my mother who is an elderly person, the rooms have a beautiful mother's smell and a beautiful view of the sea so it is a perfect combination. The gastronomic service was epic and the room has a beautiful view of the sea.

Villa Marina is the special place I was looking for for my vacation, quiet, excellent food and surrounded by boats. I love a whole island in the Caribbean. With the contagious music of the Cubans, an unforgettable evening is spent. The comfortable rooms and the smell of the sea so close to the room, it is magnificent, first class attention from the staff. I will surely return

Wonderful place, cosy and silent. Fantastic to relax. Staff very kind and helpful, the mayordomia is fantastic very helpful. The room is silent and comes with all you need. We had a room with a wonderful with on and he sea. TOTALLY RECOMMENDED!

Lo mejor de nuestro viaje a Cuba. Dayma, Maray, Balon y el personal de cocina pendientes en todo momento de lo que necesitamos. La piscina espectacular y playa paraíso nos dejó sin palabras. Las habitaciones muy confortables. Repetiremos sin dudarlo.

Nous avions besoin de vacances pour nous ressourcer et nous avons été comblés. Nous avons eu droit à un accueil très chaleureux de Mady notre majordome. Elle a été présente pour nous tout au long de notre séjour afin de s’assurer que nous ne manquions jamais de rien. Fany s’assurait que notre chambre était toujours impeccable et elle nous apportait des fleurs fraîches à tous les jours, sans parler de son magnifique sourire et de sa bonne humeur contagieuse. Rosie nous a offert un service hors pair au restaurant et au bar toute la semaine. Mention spéciale à ses Piña Coladas qui étaient divins. Elle s’est assurée également que je ne manque jamais de vin blanc tout au long de mon séjour. Nous devons donner une mention spéciale à notre chef Cuello qui nous concoctait des plats délicieux et un menu varié à tous les jours. L’endroit était calme et paisible et nous avons eu un séjour mémorable.

Oubliez tout ce que vous connaissez des resorts Cubain! Oubliez vos soucis..Oubliez votre travaille ...Oubliez le froid du Québec ;-) ....Laissez place aux soins de Yaomanny Balon! Mini resort de quelques bungalows, le service est personnalisé que ce soit du choix de repas, aux fabuleux Mjitos de la Taverne, de réservation de massages sur la Playa Serana, de soirée Karaoke, ou party d'anniversaire a la langoustes tout est parfait! Yaomanny Balon s'occupe de tous nos désires ! Une expérience que nous allons refaire c'est garantie cette fois avec plongée sous-marine ! Près de la Villa Marina il y a le centre de protection des tortues a voir et nous avons même été spectateurs de libération de plusieurs bébés a Playa Serena, beau moment a vivre ! Merci a toute l'équipe XXX p.s. on était tous en pleur au moment du départ..ça en dit long!

C’était notre deuxième fois à cet endroit et nous n’avons eu aucune déception!! Nous avons été accueillis comme jamais nous l’avons été ailleurs. Anny (Balone), notre majordome, et toute son équipe, ont pris soin de nous tout au long de la semaine. Nous avons eu droit à de très belles soirées thématiques lors desquelles nous nous sommes bien amusés. Pour ce qui est de la nourriture, malgré les pénuries que le peuple cubain subit, ils ont su nous servir de très bons repas, nous n’avons manqué de rien. Le transport en catamaran vers la plage Sirena donnait une touche d’exotisme à cette expérience formidable. Merci à tous! xx
