Apartments Sutalo

Myself and my wife had a wonderful week at Apartments Sutalo in beautiful Cavtat, Croatia. The apartment was spotless and smelled really fresh and clean upon our arrival. We had apartment no.4 which is ground floor and suitable for a couple with small bedroom byt very big comfortable bed! There's a fantastic communal pool area with jacuzzi at one end of the pool and an amazing outdoor cooking and eating area. It's communal but as there's only a few apartments in the complex, it's never busy. We had it to ourselves most of the time. Our host Natasha could not have been more helpful and welcoming. There's an electric, hob, toaster, kettle and fridge freezer in the small kitchen area for those times when you want to make a little snack and a lovely veranda to sit and chill out before or after the days excursions. The apartments are situated in a quiet street up the hill from the Cavtat harbour. About 10mins walk and less than 10 mins drive from Dubrovnik airport. There is also a great walking trail that starts at the top of the road Sutalo sits on which you can follow all the way along the coast to the mountain town of Cilipi. No.10 bus to Dubrovnik stops near the end of the road ,literally 150 metres from the apartment. Can't recommend Apartments Sutalo highly enough. The perfect base for exploring southern Croatia.

Great apartment, lovely and clean, fantastic host in Natasa and the pool is lovely. Really nice location for a walk into Cavtat. up the hill is a little bit tricky in heat but doable and if you get an ice cream for the walk up, its better. Shop a few mins walk away and airport very close. Communal area is a great bonus, used it a lot and had lunch there many times. Fridge and washing up facilities and then have lunch with a view. My daughters adored the pool, spending hours and hours. Very quiet if you want some peace (not if my kids are playing haha) And the bubbles is fun too.

We left these apartments today (sadly) after spending 8 nights in beautiful cavtat. The apartments are immaculately clean and are perfect in every way, spacious, facilities etc. Natasa (your host) is lovely and has thought of everything to cater for your self catering needs and is always on hand if you need anything. Pool area is lovely. There is nothing negative to say about our stay in any way. As previous comments have mentioned the resort is on a direct flight path to Dubrovnik airport (approx 5km away) but this never bothered us in the slightest. The apartment is located approx 10 mins walk from the town (slightly longer after a few glasses of wine and a hill to contend with!). A lovely place to stay and we wouldn’t hesitate to return to these apartments (and probably will!) - highly recommended, you will not be disappointed.

We stayed at apartments Sutalo for 10 nights in August. We are a family of 4 and our children are 11 & 7. We had a wonderful time and absolutely loved the apartments. We were on the second floor and had apartment 3 which came with a sea view from the balcony and afternoon sunshine. The apartment had lovely finishing touches that made it very homely. It was very well quipped. The bed was comfy and the sofa bed in the living room was very comfortable and a great size for our kids to share. We loved the pool area and the children spent hours in there! We often had the pool to ourselves as their are only 4 apartments. But even when other guests were around it never felt crowded. The outdoor kitchen was the highlight. With fridge/freezer it was really easy to sit up in the shade and have a drink. We also had several family meals there when not eating out in town. The ice machine was a huge bonus as well! Our host Natasha was lovely. She made sure we had everything we needed and checked in regularly to make sure we were happy. 5 minute walk to the nearest supermarket. It was small but fine for the essentials. Also a restaurant just around the corner which was very nice. Town was a 10-15 minute walk. It was quite a steep hill so avoid heels. The walk back was a little harder but we usually got an ice-cream for the journey up! Highly recommend these apartments.

Was a short but really nice stay. Friendly host and outdoor kitchen area was a great spot to eat and take in the views. Along with a nice dip in the pool.

We received a warm welcome into this impeccable property. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment which was well equipped and spotless throughout. We travelled out of season and really enjoyed the peace and quiet. We did a lot of walking and sightseeing. Pero and Natasha were fantastic hosts. Everything lived up to our expectations. This was our third visit to Apartments Sutalo. It is a lovely villa style property with 4 apartments and accommodation also for the owners. The apartments all have either a terrace or balcony, facing either a beautiful sea view or the gorgeous swimming pool. We have raved about the pool before - it's a good size, with Roman end steps, a stunning light display at night and incredibly silky water. It's the perfect place for a morning swim, evening swim and indeed, any time of the day swim! Raised to one side of the pool is a large, but beautifully designed, covered barbeque area. There are full facilities for your own cooking experience, and enjoying your meal whilst sipping cold drinks and admiring the sun setting over the island opposite is always a joy. Our apartment this time was the top one and it is very special. There is a spacious roof terrace overlooking both sea and pool, it has attractive roof beams, a well equipped kitchenette, a large and comfy sofa bed, one double bedroom, all air conditioned, and a huge bathroom. Having stayed in two of the other apartments, we feel confident to say that they all have their own special features. The owners, Pero and Natasa, are committed to ensuring their guests have the best stay. No request is too much trouble and they are very friendly and approachable. Cavtat itself is a lovely town, just the right size. It has a buzz, but is not unpleasantly busy. There are many great restaurants, and those we visited had very friendly and amusing staff. There is a stunning, pine covered walkway around the peninsula for those wanting a gentle stroll. For the more active, there is kayaking and other water sports. Dubrovnik is roughly 30 minutes away by boat and the trip is very enjoyable. We would thoroughly recommend Apartments Sutalo as a perfect place to stay if you are visiting this part of Croatia.

Lovely apartment, sea view and location. Swimming pool perfect and shared with only a few other guests. Hosts very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended *****

Brilliant, me and my friends were so lucky to have such beautiful place to stay and the host was lovely and helpful! We didn't use the pizza oven that's communal for guests but we know from another guest that it was fantastic.
