Exceeded expectations. Highly recommend a couples massage at the spa and eating a 5 course chef prepared dinner. Such unique & delicious offerings. Absolutely enjoyed our stay. In beautiful Tuscany wine country but still near enough to other picturesque villages.

This would be an ideal place for a quiet weekend retreat from it all! We only stayed one night while touring Tuscany, but it was gorgeous. Large room, big comfortable bed. Great shower. Breakfast was best of our trip - big buffet with eggs, sausage, pastry, meats, cheese, yogurt, fruit, cereal - something for everyone. The grounds are stunning. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool and watching the sun go down over the vineyards. The exercise room looks out over the vineyards, too. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Perfect from start to finish. The setting was beautiful and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The food was excellent - from the great selection for breakfast to the tasting menu at the restaurant using locally sourced ingredients. We loved this hotel and will definitely be back in the future!

This was our third trip (in a row) to Locande and they maintained the same high standards and warm welcome of previous visits. The staff members are the same which is wonderful (indeed, they recognised us notwithstanding the passing of 12 months). The food options are even better this year as the less formal Aperitavola has a larger menu. We ate there several times (and also the excellent and refined Tavola da Guido). The grounds are wonderful of course. My wife and I already miss the lovely breakfasts they served. We hope to return next year.

Such a beautiful setting with lots of lovely seating areas dotted around the property and incredible views from the pool terrace. Room was comfortable and had everything you would need. Food delicious in both formal and casual restaurants. The pool bar was sadly out of use due to a fire but I think they are rebuilding for next year. This was our second visit after visiting on our honeymoon in 2017 and it still was just as lovely as then.

My expectations were exceeded at this small hotel. The property is lovely and well thought out. I stayed in an executive room in the main building. It was on the second level. The room had a comfortable bed, desk and chair, mini fridge, ceiling fan, a/c and a large closet. The bathroom had a shower stall. The only disappointing thing was that my window was small, and I had to walk right up to it to look out at the view. (The executive with patio rooms looked like they had nice outdoor patios with views.) The garden area with the pool has amazing views over the countryside. Being at the pool was quite pleasant after touring for the day. The grounds are very well kept. The breakfast is a nice buffet. The dining area is very stylish and surrounded by glass windows that can be opened when the temperature is nice. Everything I ate at the Tavola di Guido restaurant was very good, but the menu is very limited (you choose from a 3 or 5-course set menu; there is no a la carte). Substitutions didn't seem to be appreciated. For instance, there was one item on the set menu that I didn't find appealing, so I asked for something simple like grilled vegetables as a substitute and was brought beef tartare instead. The staff were all nice and friendly. You can visit many small towns of the Chianti region in 40 minutes or so. There is on-site parking that felt secure (in the countryside).
