Tru by Hilton Cartersville

Our overall stay was nice. However; we had an issue with our TV remote control. Had to exchange two different ones to get one that worked. Also the hand soap in the bathroom was almost empty and the clerk on duty was not able to get a master key to replace it while we were at dinner. We asked when we returned from dinner and she said she would not be able to replace it until 10 pm so we said not to bother. We were travelling and would be asleep by 10 pm

Overall stay was pretty decent. The only problem was, the stations for your tv was not working properly. Only had three channels to watch and some times those channels weren’t working properly.

Gave our room away and left us stranded I booked rhis hotel as a pay when you arive at the hotel option, I had a different card than what is on file to pay with. They tried to run the card on file 2 hours before check in. They called at 2pm, saying they needed another card. I couldn't answer as we were still on the plane! When we showed up at 5pm they informed us tgat they gave our room away! On a busy weekend of baseball. It was nearly impossible to find a room. They had a room for 1 night for us, so we stayed. The bed was hard. The TV didnt work, there was onectowel for 4 prople in the room. A shopping bag was left in the bathroom from previous guests. The water in the toilet was brown, turns out there was broken watermain and it effected the toilet water. The bathroom was run down and dirty. The big soap bottles on the wall in the shower were empty and when i looked in one (it wasnt secured) it was moldy inside So after all that we spoke with some others that weekend rhat stayed at that hotel and they did the exact same thing to them. Clearly they overbooked. Shady ower operators of this TRU!

Good location. New Hotel. It was noisy. A group of kids were downstairs on the pool table while their parents sat off to the side while they yelled, & threw things across the room. This was very off putting considering we’d just walked in the building to check in. The young lady at the desk asked numerous times for them to quiet down. I eventually get my key and head up to my room. As I’m walking the room and checking things out to make sure everything is to my liking, I pull the duvet back and there is blood on the comforter. They eventually switched my room.

The laundry wasn’t working which is an issue when you’re there for a week playing baseball. The workout room was filthy. Had a nice expensive Peloton bike that couldn’t be used because the pedals had to have clip in shoes. The other pedals were broke and in a drawer. They never had workout towels or anything to wipe down the equipment. I wiped mine down before working out and it was filled with dust like it had never been cleaned. The pool had a greenish tint to it.
