B&B "La Bottega d'Arte"

I spent a day and a night in Carrara, and La Bottega d’Arte was the perfect accommodation: clean, very comfortable, in the center of the city. The kitchen next to the room contained everything to make a coffee or eat a piece of chocolate! And Corrado, the owner, gives excellent pieces of advice.

I spent a total of three nights here while exploring this part of Italy by bike. I had my reservations about booking at first, because I’m used to seeking accommodation in youth hostels, but if the money is not an issue I am convinced this place will give you bang for your buck and then some. Let me first talk about the room I stayed in itself. This was very comfortable; a large and comfy bed, comfy chairs, a bathtub, bathrobes, hairdryer, airconditioning, and television are all provided in the room itself. The remotes were wrapped in plastic to make it extra clean and corona-safe, which came on top of the already impressive cleanliness in the rest of the room. Additionally , I loved having a view of the surrounding mountains from my window. Other than the room itself, this B&B provides a kitchen/dining room you can use (with complementary fruits/snacks/bread/drinks), and a garage in case you cone by car or bike or motorcycle (or heck, even your skateboard could go there if you just ask for it). The location is wonderfully central in the old town of Carrara, not even a minute’s walk away from the beautiful Piazza Alberica one way, and an Esselunga supermarket the other. It’s not fat towards the surrounding mountains and marble quarries. I suppose for tourists who visit this region in the summer just for the beaches, options that are closer to the beaches are also available, but for people looking for a calm and beautiful private place to relax, this is a great option. Lastly I should give my compliments to the host, who has been friendly, hospitable, helpful, attentive, easy to reach and communicate with, and as a bonus quite good at speaking english. I will remember this place fondly, partially thanks to him.

Abbiamo alloggiato nella stanza Ermione, stanza in stile liberty , molto spaziosa. Anche il bagno ampio e ben arredato. Stanza molto silenziosa e dotata di ogni comfort. In comune si può eventualmente utilizzare la cucina . A disposizione acqua e sfiziosita'. La stanza è in un palazzo meraviglioso. Buono per la colazione per pasticceria li vicino. Accoglienza ottima ! Torneremo e lo consiglieremo !

Accogliente e in zona strategica per visitare la città! Il proprietario è stato molto cordiale. Le camere sono curate e ristrutturate con cura e fedeltà di particolari. In comune con le altre camere una cucina dove potersi preparare una buona colazione Consigliato!

Fabuleux hôtel particulier. Les chambres meublées à l'ancienne sont très confortable et spacieuse. L'accueil de Corado est un délice. Très bien placé près de la grande place et et d'un parking. A recommander. Le bonus la visite des carrières est passionnante, C'est un must.

Posto consigliatissimo per tutti non manca nulla dal accoglienza del proprietario alla pulizia e a tutto quello che mette a disposizione per i clienti zona cucina caffè tutto per fare colazione. Siamo rimasti molto contenti. Grazie ci torneremo
