Hotel Santa Teresa by the Beach

This hotel is so cute, clean, and modern. The staff is all extremely accommodating and friendly. It’s also in an excellent location… walking distance to many restaurants and the beach. I stayed in an ocean view king suite. I highly recommend staying here!

Amazing location, incredible breakfast, beautiful and clean rooms. Great restaurants in town and used their recommended company to rent ATVs. Our entire family had a blast. Beautiful weather in June as well. Only rained at night! Recommend doing horseback riding tour as well.

Very clean hotel, updated rooms and bathrooms, the pool is nice but it’s smaller, but the ocean is a block away, the breakfast is decent, the workers there are great and very welcoming, the location is great it is right next to everything, coffee, spa, surf shops, a bunch of great places to eat, ATV rentals, it’s a really cool place to be for a couple days with 1-3 people!

Very nice hotel. Clean and comfortable. All the staff from the general manger to housekeeping were nice and accommodating. The water pressure needs a little help, but other than that, we were very happy with our stay. P.S Try the pool out. The water was nice and cool. Perfect temperature.

This is a classy hotel which is decorated with flair and imagination. It’s a beautiful experience, aided by helpful staff. Unfortunately it’s not totally practical especially as there is no table in the room at which to work, just an ill-lit bench. We had to drag the outside chairs inside so we had somewhere to sit while using laptops. The breakfast room is lovely and the food is good too. They will cook eggs as required. The view is wonderful and it’s a delight to wander outside. The Old Town is only a short walk away, with its many shops and cafes. The wi-fi works well. The bathroom is very good, with a walk-in shower. This is a good hotel for travellers with mobility issues though I write as a person with arthritis who uses a walking stick not a wheelchair. I couldn’t get the safe to work and although there is a kettle, there were no supplies.

My husband and I stayed at Santa Teresa Hotel a boutique hotel for 10 days from Mar 24 - Apr 2, 2024. It’s situated just off the main road, accessible to shops and facilities but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the busy thoroughfare. The front desk, breakfast and cleaning staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is included, both hot and cold options are provided, includes eggs any style, choice of fruits, granola, yoghurt, French toast, pancakes and a variety of coffee options- cappuccino, cafe latte and so on. The breakfast area is outside, but shaded with a pleasant setting near the pool and garden. Self-service filtered cold water is available at all hours. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and puffy pillows and AC to keep you cool. The beach is 1/2 block away to delight in the spectacular sunsets. We enjoyed long walks along the extensive stretch of sandy beach. Surfing rental is accessible on the way to the beach. On the main road, ATV / jeep rentals are nearby. We rented a jeep to Montezuma Falls. Exceptional international restaurants are within walking distance from the hotel. As an added bonus they kindly provided a later checkout. Overall an adventurous, relaxing and fantastic vacation! Whatever you want it to be!

The hotel is just off the main near to major restaurants like The Bakery. The room I stayed in had a view of the ocean and a comfortable viewing area. The hotel also has a hot pool and a swimming pool. It is close close to Playa Carmen. It is quite nice!

Our family of four was in the 2-bedroom apartment for our stay. It's huge, new & clean. I can't imagine there is a nicer place to stay in Santa Teresa. We loved the breakfast - hearty and made to order. Warren and his staff are tremendous. Special mention to David & Sharon who were both really helpful with advice and reservations.

Hotel Santa Teresa By The Beach was very clean, quiet and relaxing for our family. Everyone there was very friendly. Luis helped us book a canopy zip-lining tour and a day at Tortuga Island. The hotel was very family friendly and the breakfast was great!
