About 100 m from the hotel`s own public sandy/pebble/rocky beach and approximately 300 m from the sea is located the aparthotel Selectum Family Resort Varadero. The nearest restaurants and bars can be found within 100 m. The old town is around 5 km away. A supermarket is around 200 m away. There is a 24h shuttle between the hotel and the airport 24h a day. Nearby there is a disco and a theatre which offer entertainment in high season. The beach is patrolled by a lifeguard and awarded a blue flag, pets and nudist bathing are allowed. This was our first trip to Cuba and we had such a wonderful time. The resort is new, modern, and clean. The cleaning lady that we had was fantastic, always pleasant and there to ensure we were content. Irving at the snack bar was always smiling and made us feel so welcomed. Bartenders Alex and Enrike the life of the party!! They were absolutely fantastic!! We miss all of you❤️

The rooms were always clean and the entertainment was awesome with Wendy, Yan, Carlos and Yoyo. Just there energy and making us part of there routines was so much fun that we are returning next year. Thank you Selectum for making us feel like home.

Yan, Carlos, Yoyo and Wendy were awesome at entertaining us. They kept us dancing and laughing all week. The rooms were clean and the service was great. Bars were always full of choices, especially the hut going towards the beach…awesome miami vice and sangria slush.

Amazing Experience Thanks to the Incredible Staff! Our stay at Selectum Family Resort was truly unforgettable, and it’s all thanks to the amazing staff, especially Yan, Carlos, Yoyo, and Wendy at the pool and night party! Also the two Young girl that was train. Their dedication, energy, and kindness made all the difference in our experience. A special shoutout to Wendy, who went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. She made sure we participated in so many fun activities and always made us feel welcome and comfortable. Her enthusiasm and warmth truly stood out! We can’t wait to come back!

Group of 40 people from NB, Canada. We had Milan as our cleaning lady. Clean rooms, clean sheets, didn’t run out of toilet paper, hot showers Repetitive meals, but that’s to be expected in Cuba. You will not go hungry. Wasn’t at the Sky Blue restaurant but some of the group were and were very satisfied with the food. Daily activities for all age. We had so much fun and made beautiful memories that will last a lifetime with our daily entertainers (Wendy, Jenni, Superman, (I forget the other names). Nightly entertainment was great, different theme. Drinks at the Jazz bar were very good and Miami vice at the beach bar was by far the best for most of us. Overall, I have nothing bad to say about this resort and thinking on maybe going back next year.

Wonderfully friendly staff. I elected for a meal package that allowed me access to a great lounge/restaurant on the top floor. Nice to avoid long line ups and have table service. I will pay for this service on my next visit for sure. Was a nice venue enjoy a little bit more of a quiet atmosphere. Live entertainment in the evening was a bonus. Good job!

Overall a very nice resort with a good variety of food. The SkyBlue restaurant and experience was amazing and I highly recommend getting the 24h package. The staff, the food and the view is great. The entertainment at night is good and the music at the pool with the activities makes it very enjoyable :) A good family resort

Katherin and Lester at the beach bar were the most welcoming and kind staff on the resort. They took the time to learn about us, make a connection and friendship and treated us extremely well on the trip. Even when we were at the pool, we would walk down and get drinks from them. Other bar tenders were amazing as well, Lester and Katherin just stood out to us the most❤️

Good experience over all appreciated the service and the food is good staff is friendly I would comeback one day. Good for children, there is a theme every evening, they do dance shows where kids can participate. Swimming pools are big, so they are not very crowded . Good cocktails
