About 100 m from the hotel`s own public sandy/pebble/rocky beach and approximately 300 m from the sea is located the aparthotel Selectum Family Resort Varadero. The nearest restaurants and bars can be found within 100 m. The old town is around 5 km away. A supermarket is around 200 m away. There is a 24h shuttle between the hotel and the airport 24h a day. Nearby there is a disco and a theatre which offer entertainment in high season. The beach is patrolled by a lifeguard and awarded a blue flag, pets and nudist bathing are allowed. On the beach there is also a clubhouse. Here, there are cushions and sun umbrellas available. Cold drinks are served at the bar on the beach. There is also a promenade here where you can go for a stroll. To reach the beach a shuttle is provided. i must say i enjoyed my stay. it was a very clean and nice resort. Staff was always looking to help out, i never heard the word no/we can't while i stayed there. Yadir Sanchez (bellhop) this guy was always there when you needed something. Thanks Yadir!! front desk also was very helpful (unfortunately i didnt get there names). Silvia and her partner at the lobby bar were the greatest, these two were so much fun!! The beach does need work however, i love the hanging out on the beach and swimming in the ocean but its not the greatest here. I am sure they have plans to fix it. Two thumbs up.. oh ya, and its like 15 mins from the airport..

Everything in the hotel is excellent: it is new, the animators are great (especially Jenifer - she really loves the people, she takes care about you every minute and make you feel like at home), evening shows are wonderful, the staff is very polite and kind; it is great that the beach has doctors and securities. The food in the hotel is absolutely delicious, fresh, healthy and organic. The hotel has a great chef from Turkey - Chef Gökhan Gökalp! You will have a lot of things to do in the hotel! Fishing is wonderful near the hotel. The tennis courts in the hotel are great! I recommend this hotel with all my heart! You will really enjoy your holiday here!

I was in Cuba, at Selectum Family Resort in mid March for a 7 days all inclusive vacation my family. The hotel itself is great for families. Swimming pools are very nice and well kept. The staff are awesome and friendly. I like to few people in entertainment: Jen, Alexandra etc..they are awesome. I also would like to thank staff in kids club for caring for my son. Very much appreciated. However, the food was terrible for my whole stay. From juice, to fruits, main entrees: bad grade food. Even guava juices and fruits were terrible. The beach is also terrible- Rocky! You can not swim in there. You will need spippas to walk on water until you can swim. Only one small section of the beach's sand is walkable barefoot. I would like to thank kids club for kids programs.

Absolutely beautiful clean hotel! Big shoutout to Edith our maid on the 5th floor she was amazing, also Catherine and Lester at the beach bar ( the best drinks ) the ladies at the pool bar were wonderful as well and the lobby bar staff were great! We would definitely go back!! Was a little worried about some of the reviews about the beach yes it had some rocks but lots of beautiful places to enter the water! The food was plentiful no shortages, my only complaint would be the Sun loungers by the pool they are in desperate need of new chairs and there isn’t enough shade by the pool. Can’t wait to go back!!!! Loved our beautiful ocean view room it was beautiful!

My cousin and I are enjoying an amazing vacation to Selectum Family Resort - Varadero. First, I must share that the Sky Blue VIP Service is top notch. We have had perfect meals and meal service. Customer experience is excellent, food quality, presentation and cocktails are top notch. The views from the seventh floor are breathtaking taking. Everything from having a cabana reserved, mojitos, amazing food and friendly staff. The staff, Adi, Adryan, Rosalie, Rosi, Susana, Yoli, Leimis, are simply amazing people, gracious, professional, generous and kind. I highly recommend Sky Blue to your Selectum Family Resort experience. The main resort is extraordinary the room was perfect, clean and no issues. Please consider this resort for your vacation or family vacation. I observed many happy children splashing in the pool and adults having an amazing time.

I feel so happy in this astonish hotel. The place is very comfortable and rhe attention is quite good. The higiene in all places is quite well. The people from the restaurant are very kind. The jazz bar time is really good and rhe waiters and very kind too in general all in this hotel is really well.

The staff very friendly in all the areas of the hotel. Yaniela was my favorite but the rest nice too. I will recommend to everyone. The swimming pool area good for any age. Very safe. Alot of activities all day long. Many tours if you want to experience something different. Very happy of my staying here.

The staff was the best i have ever met, special mention to Rachel in the animation staff who has a special space in my heart, she is the best always has a smile in her face and has a contagious happiness. The hotel was great overall, great animation. During the day there was music by the pool there is a great energy.

This place is nice and we spent great time. Alexandra was great and her hospitality was unique. I highly recommend this place. It’s clean and full of entertainment for kids and family. The pools are clean and I like the beach too. However the foods weren’t what we expected.
