Eggentaler

We've travelled in Europe extensively and we appreciate being treated with politeness and a degree of warmth. Travel is stressful enough without dealing with staff attitude. Something in the air changed as we drove from Venice to Cortina and through Val Gardena to Cardano. The default language switched from Italian to German. Unfortunately, the customer service at the Eggentaler is also stereotypically German: brisk and devoid of warmth. The rooms at the Eggentaler are as comfortable as you could expect for the prices they charge: clean, modern and quiet. The staff who received as in the late afternoon were more brusque than brisk. There's an intangible officiousness here that grates, particularly the small, beaded man with bun who checked us in. He insisted that we pay for our stay before nightfall because the breakfast staff couldn't process checkouts the next day, for some reason. So we heated up our credit cards, paying for dinner and our rooms the night we arrived. That request to pay wasn't itself problematic, but his manner was very abrasive. This stood in stark contrast to our experience the next night in Salò, where staff at the Hotel Spiaggia d'Oro greeted us warmly in a delightful, lakeside setting at a cost of around half what the Eggentaler charged. Ironically, it was Eggentaler's "breakfast girls" who weren't allowed to check us out who provided more warmth and advice to us than anyone who was on duty the previous night.

Beautiful property and close to a lot of great attractions. We enjoyed our stay.

Really enjoyed our stay. Easy check in and rooms were nice. Restaurant was very accommodating and food was excellent. Breakfast provided was more than I expected. Highly recommend

Hotel pulito, ben ristrutturato, accogliente con camere spaziose e ben attrezzate. Personale molto cordiale, ottima colazione ed eccellente rapporto qualità prezzo. Ristorante con piatti interessanti, anche se avrei preferito più cucina locale e meno offerta di pesce, ma ho comunque mangiato bene con un buon servizio e un prezzo più che corretto .

Ho cenato e dormito in questa splendida struttura dove tutto è perfetti nei particolari Ottimi piatti del territorio presentati in modo eccellente Ottima cantina Le camere sono meravigliose ed accoglienti Tornerò sicuramente non appena ne avrò l’occasione

L'hotel è collocato in una zona molto tranquilla con diversi posti auto nelle immediate vicinanze. Tutto molto curato e arredato con gusto. A**osfera incantevole! La camera spaziosa, ben organizzata, molto pulita e arredata benissimo. Nella stanza era presente sia la doccia che la.vasca da bagno ( meravigliosa e super spaziosa). Frigobar ben fornito e a disposizione in camera c'era un bollitore con una buona scelta di tisane. Camera insonorizzata molto bene. Il personale gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo cenato al ristorante dell'hotel dove siamo state coccolate e devo dire che tutto il personale è stato piacevole e super gentile. Cibo di ottima qualità e spiegato in modo esemplare. Piccole note leggermente dolenti (ma che non pesano sul.giudizio finale ): - da migliorare il kit cortesia aggiungere un piccolo set per l'igiene orale sarebbe stato ottimale - peccato non sia presente il.servizio massaggi porterebbe tutto ad un livello superiore. - aggiungere un topper ai letti sarebbe auspicabile

Très bon hôtel, sauf que la chambre triple qui aurait dû faire 32m2 n’en faisait que 15m2 plus une salle de bain couloir de 2,5m2. Le troisième lit annoncé n’a pas un vrai matelas. Je l’ai signalé dès mon arrivée, aucune solution proposée, on me dit qu’il faut attendre le patron. Le soir personne n’est revenu vers moi. Je te demande a la réception, la seule réponse « mi dispiace » « que voulez vous que je fasse, je n’ai pas d’autre chambre a vous donner » et aucune proposition. Je paye ma note de 367€70 en totalité, chambre et repas. Il ne leur vient pas a l’idée que si la chambre fait la moitié de la taille annoncée, ils devraient proposer quelquechose. « Mi dispiace » et « c’est la première » fois que quelqu’un se plaint » sera leur seule réponse.
