Gorgeous boutique b&b, lovely rooms and delicious breakfast . The location is great you can walk to the beach and into St Ives. Hosts Mark & Fenella are so welcoming and nothing too much trouble. We had a fantastic weekend and can’t wait to book another trip .

Superb location. Well furnished room with really comfortable bed. Sea views from some of the rooms and our hosts were extremely helpful and super friendly. 25 minutes short walk along the mostly tarmac coastal path into St Ives or you could catch the train from the Carbis Bay Station, also a very short walk way. Carbis Bay Hotel (G7 Location) and beach at the front of the hotel at the bottom of the hill. Honesty bar with a snug room within the hotel. Breakfast was superb and with lots of choices and served in the conservatory with views across the sea. Far enough away from the bustle of St Ives and a truly relaxing retreat.

What a fantastic time we had this weekend at character filled Headland House. The location is ideal, looking out over Carbis Bay, from our comfortable & stylish, sea scape inspired room. It is just a short walk to the beach for swimming and a pretty 20 minute walk along a coastal path, to the charming little town of St.Ives. Mark & Fenella are the perfect hosts. With welcome drinks and scones on arrival, friendly local advice for restaurants and attractions and the breakfasts they served in the conservatory were superb. A top notch place to stay, you won’t be disappointed.

The most perfect stay for our weekend away. Mark and Fenelle have thought of every little touch to make your stay extra special and couldn’t have been anymore helpful. We would highly recommend. We will definitely be returning!

Since returning from our stay at Headland House I have recommended it to all my friends and family! If you are looking for a beautifully presented B&B in a great location, excellent breakfasts and the best hosts you could wish for, then look no further. Mark and Fenella were so very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. Wonderful people. We stayed in Room 3, Cape Cornwall which, although it did not have a sea view, was beautifully furnished, a good size and had an amazing bathroom. The cakes were amazing and we were so grateful for the Prosecco to help celebrate my birthday. Just a couple of minutes walk to the train station into St Ives too. Do book (book directly through their website as you get free parking and a welcome cream tea) - you won’t be disappointed.

From the minute we pulled up we were warmly welcomed. We had a great weekend in a gorgeous room. Genuinely a perfect location, a perfect place and perfect hosts. Little touches everywhere show the effort that is put in. And all mounts up to make you feel amazing. The vegetarian breakfast was devine. Will wholeheartedly recommend and cannot wait to book again.

We stayed in the Net Loft and it had everything we needed and more. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice and our hosts made us feel very welcome. The beaches and walks are beautiful in and around St Ives with a thriving town full of art to explore with great restaurants. It’s a pretty half hour stroll into St Ives but there is a regular train service very close by. Porthminster Kitchen is a great place to eat!

We stayed in a couple of rooms during our long weekend visit. Room 3 is the best designed and most spacious room, try to request it in advance and you won't regret it. Room 2 is also beautiful with 2 large sea view windows. The main breakfast dishes are ordered the night before and they are served alongside a standard breakfast buffet. There is also an honest bar full of drinks and a small sitting area. The area feels super safe and there is an easy parking within the premises- please note it is only free when you book directly through the B&B website. The hosts Fenella and Mark are the nicest we met in a long while; they will go the extra mile to ensure that your stay is memorable - both also offered us the best local places to visit in terms of interest and food. We enjoyed chatting to them in the morning and loved hearing funny anecdotes about their experiences of the area. Although St. Ives is about 3km away, there is a great train service with an easy excess from the house that takes you to town within a few minutes. Alternatively you can also walk to St Ives directly from the house via a memorable path with breathtaking views of the sea.

My wife and I just spent 3 nights in this wonderful b&b. Mark and Fenalla were great hosts and very welcoming. Everything was top notch, the room was lovely, calming very comfy and we had a fab view of Carbis Bay. The breakfasts were very generous, tasted great too. It's a fantastic location away from busy St Ives, only a 5 min train ride away for £1. No need to use your car. Park it and chill. Thx Mark and Fenella.
