Saronsberg Vineyard Cottages

Sitting on the patio of the cottage, listening to the friendly chatter of birds, drinking a glass of wine, admiring the beautiful views and just relaxing ... what more can you ask for! The cottage was clean and had a small kitchenette. The gardens are beautifully and well maintained. I will definitely visit again.

We have known the winery for several years from wine tastings and the excellent wines. This time we stayed overnight for the first time and were simply thrilled. It was an unforgettable experience of the highest class. The friendly and attentive staff and the hospitality made us feel welcome. Our cottage had everything to make our stay "like at home". It was very clean, the beds very comfortable and many small additional details contributed to this special experience. There were even ice cubes ready for us in the fridge, just waiting to cool down the delicious wine as a welcome gift. The location is unique, the area is breathtaking and the peace and quiet is indescribable. We will definitely be back. Many thanks to the whole team who made this wonderful stay possible.

Surrounded by truly breathtaking scenery (seriously, breathtaking), the cottages are beautifully designed, and fully equipped with everything you could need, including private patios that offer the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Saronsberg is nestled in the heart of the picturesque Tulbagh Valley, and offers an ideal combination of comfort, nature, and world-class wine (their Seismic red and MCC being firm favorites among our group). The Pool and Lapa area quickly became one of our favourite spots to relax and braai, and we thoroughly enjoyed indulging in their exceptional wines at the tasting area, which overlooks the majestic Witzenberg mountains— a view that’s simply unforgettable. We cannot wait to go back!
