We absolutely loved our 7 day stay at Abbey Manor. Perfect location; central enoigh to get around yet quiet at night. Amazing team and delicious breakfast! We will definitelty be back!

The Abbey Manor guesthouse has incredible views looking towards Table Mountain, which we could see from our bedroom and from the rooftop terrace. Our bedroom was beautiful with all necessarily amenities. The staff went to great lengths to look after us , booking taxis and advising on places to go. Thanks for that help Mico! The breakfasts were amazing! So much choice and good portions. There were complimentary drinks in the lounge each evening and everything about the Abbey felt relaxing and luxurious . We would love to visit again!

We thoroughly enjoyed a six-night stay during March 2025. The guesthouse is a lovely building set in absolutely stunning scenery with amazing views of Table Mountain and the city. Breakfasts were excellent, great selection and high-quality food/cooking. The staff were excellent and a call out for Miko for whom nothing was too much trouble, from informed conversations about the city to great suggestions for things to do and restaurants (including making reservations) – thanks so much. Highly recommended and we would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this luxury hotel for 3 nights during our recent trip to Cape Town. Perfectly located in a safe, residential area at the foot of Table Mountain, the hotel is a perfect base for exploring Cape Town and surrounding areas. Staff are very friendly and welcoming and the hotel is very clean. Our room was actually a seperate bungalow which was very spacious and well equipped with tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast is served both inside and on the pool terrace with amazing views of Table Mountain. V&A Waterfront is just 4km away (approx 5 usd by Uber). We will be back again soon!!!

Abbey Manor is a jewel amongst boutique hotels. The location is safe and quiet - a bit of the beaten track but easily accessible with Uber. It is an 30 min walk to the Cable Way on the main road (short cut does not seem advisable if walking solo). From the roof terrace one has a fabulous view of the entire mountain range. The cottage room has pool view, is spacious and elegantly decorated. The staff are very welcoming and accommodating. They provide tips to the city and make each guest feel special and welcome. Complementary soft drinks and aperitifs are available in the lounge room. Each evening, guests are given bed time stories narrating legends of the region - a very nice touch. Breakfast is plentiful and of great quality. I can't recommend Abbey Manor highly enough. I was able to get the cottage for only EUR 124 per night. I was well worth the money.

We stayed for four nights 3rd -7th Feb. Everything about our stay was absolutely perfect. Wonderful location with spectacular views of Table Mountain, excellent rooms and a superb breakfast. The hosts were super helpful with bookings and ideas for things to do in Cape Town

Had the best start of our trip when we stayed in Abbey Manor the first few nights. Great view of Capetown, located in a quiet and safe area uphill close to Table Mountain. Generous rooms, generous facilities, best breakfast ever. Mike, Anja and Mico helped with all our questions and needs, taking every extra step. Would have loved to stay even longer. Thanks so much for everything!

If visiting Cape Town then The Abbey Manor is the perfect location, fantastic accommodation, lovely staff. Nothing about this place is negative, the only downside was having to leave, but based on our experience, we will be back. PS. Book direct

Really enjoyed our stay. Mico and team were welcoming and provided guidance to ease us into all aspects of Cape Town. Room was luxurious and the breakfast was probably the best we had on our trip. It as nice sitting around the swimming pool eating breakfast. Definitely recommend.

It was our first time in Cape Town and we couldn’t have stayed in a better place! The guesthouse was lovely and the rooms were beautifully decorated. We especially loved the location- it was lovely to wake up every morning with the view of Table Mountain. The staff were so welcoming and helpful especially Mico who gave us great tips and suggestions. We’ll definitely stay here again when we go back!

Amazing guest house. The room was beautifully decorated and we had a lovely little deck area. Breakfast by the pool each morning was lovely Everyone was so helpful with advice to help our trip. . We stayed 3 nights. We would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful 4 nights here celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary The hosts were wonderful and helped organise flowers and champagne in the room. The room was spotless and we particularly enjoyed the bedtime story left with a treat when returning to the room after supper. The food was delicious and views of Table Mountain second to none. Would definitely love to return
