Royal Atlantic

The service is top notch. I am quite impressed with the experience of staying at this wonderful space. There is a lot of breeze and it is relaxing. For a moment I forgot about my life problems. This is precisely a place to live. The rooms are well taken care of. I am in love with this hotel because the room service is excellent.

I am utterly appalled by the trea**ent my family endured at The Royal Atlantic resort, courtesy of both the receptionists and the manager. Despite meticulously adhering to occupancy limits and clearly explaining our situation, we were callously denied entry. The manager's openly hostile demeanor, described in his own words as "abrupt," coupled with the unwarranted threat to report and ban my husband, is nothing short of disgraceful. This egregious display of unprofessionalism not only tarnished what should have been a delightful evening but also took place in front of my distraught 4-year-old daughter, who was left in tears. Furthermore, the initial interaction at check-in, where a simple inquiry about the duration of the process was met with a disrespectful retort from the receptionist saying “it depends how long you talk for” just exemplifies the pervasive lack of professionalism and courtesy at your establishment. Such behavior is utterly intolerable and demands immediate redressal.

I am rating them on international standards and yes 5/5 for this excellent Sea Point hotel. Good value, good service all round. Friendly staff and around the corner from the promenade. The hotel is neat, exceptionally well cleaned and serviced. There’s an indoor pool. All rooms are air conditioned and comfortable. It’s surrounded by excellent restaurants. So, it’s well worth a visit.

Very poor management. No hot water for weeks on end. Poor communication. Stay very far away from this resort. It seems they apologised because they were forced too. Marking complaints as reviewed but doing nothing to improve. I have never before experienced such bad service.

Very nicely situated in Sea Point, one block away from the beach. Central to everything you need to see and do in Cape Town. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything one needs for self catering. The staff from the cleaners to front of desk, were so friendly and helpful. The only negative is the parking bay in the basement. We were fortunate to have a small hire car which managed the steep entrance and small parking bays. All in all we had a lovely stay.

we swapped timeshare points for three units at the Royal Atlantic as we needed to be in Cape Town for a wedding. The reviews were awful and we were weary about what to expect, The apar**ents were spotless and the staff extremely friendly so we were pleasantly surprised. There were homeless people sleeping on the street outside the evening we arrived but we soon found out that there are many in Cape Town and we saw some homeless people on the promenade and on the beach in Seapoint. We could hear some people shouting or arguing in the streets the first night. There is secure underground parking for guests and the reception area is neat and recently renovated.There isn’t much of a view from the rooms in the second and third floors as we faced other buildings but the walk to and along the promenade is pleasant and safe enough. There is no coffee shop or kitchen in the building so no room service or even morning coffee so completely self catering. There is a small woolworths shop at the petrol station around the corner where one can get some basics.

We were down in Cape Town before the 2 Oceans race. This is a great self catering hotel. Location is perfect. Clean and with very friendly staff. Perfect stay to enjoy everything in and aroubd Cape Town. The heated indoor pool is a plus. Black away from the beach front and very close to amazing restaurants.

We had a lovely, comfortable and pleasant stay at Royal Atlantic. The staff are really friendly and polite, and they ensured all our needs were met. The location in Sea Point is perfect and in walking distance to the beach, restaurants, Hop On Hop Off Red Bus and many more places. We will definitely recommend the Royal Atlantic to our friends and colleagues.

We had a lovely stay at Royal Atlantic, location is prime, facilities are wonderful. However, we noticed numerous personal items were going missing after each room service! Multiple complaints were made to reception staff, and managers. Sadly not one individual took the complaints seriously, in actual fact I was entirely left to deal with the situation on my own. I’m extremely disappointed in how the matter was handled, and the lack of sympathy.
