Holiday Lodge on Canyon Lake

Room was as advertised. Loved the heater. Toilet needs a grab bar. Is low and small and hard to get up from. Very limited kitchen equipment. Outside needs to be spruced up.

Great location near the lake. It was awesome to see the deer grazing on the grounds and nearby areas. The owner took his time during check in to answer any of our questions and to tell us about the area ( i.e. restaurant recommendations ).

This is a nice property. It is far enough away from the highway to be quiet. Access to the lake is right next door. The location allows for visits to Gruene, New Braunfels, or Wimberley.

This past weekend, my wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Holiday Lodge on Canyon Lake, and it was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment we arrived, Mark, the owner, made us feel like old friends rather than guests. His knowledge of local activities, restaurants, and hidden gems added a personal touch that transformed our stay from good to great. The cleanliness of the lodge was impeccable, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic environment throughout our stay. The attention to detail was evident, with everything we needed at our fingertips - the essentials for a lake stay were all there. Located right on the lake, the views were spectacular, and access to water activities was incredibly convenient. The boat ramp adjacent to the property made impromptu lake outings a breeze, and being just a stone's throw away from Canyon Lake shore allowed us to enjoy tranquil mornings and serene evenings by the water. The Holiday Lodge on Canyon Lake provided a perfect escape for both relaxation and adventure. Whether it's a family trip or a getaway with friends, this place is a treasure. We're already looking forward to our next stay!

Fantastic place to stay. Not sure why anyone would book a stay in the area anywhere else. So glad we found this place. Will be back for sure.

The host was incredibly informative and helpful throughout our stay. We were able to swim near the property which was a pleasant surprise and so convenient. There's a great view on top of the hill adjacent to the property. The room was perfect for our family of four (absolutely loved the wall bookcase)!

We really enjoyed staying at this property. It is a nice, clean, mom and pop-run establishment. There are dishes present and a full sized fridge in the rooms. I recommend staying here and would do it again
