Nice place, nothing to complain

Amazing building in a beautiful picturesque setting. Professional staff who genuinely care and appreciate the customer. Sleep experience very comfortable, luxury bed sheets and towels. An excellent 5* hotel stay.

The front desk staff and house keeping were excellent. Met with a drink on arrival. Always an added bonus The experience was let down by the restaurant and bar staff who made us feel as if we were an imposition being there. No eye contact. Orders not taken correctly and missing food. The building and location are amazing

A gem of the hotel that feels like it’s just finding its feet… there’s some obvious things that need to be done, but I think it will get better and better.

The hotel has great aspects but also unfortunately strong blockers (lack of luminosity and the pool is not accessible by default even if you've paid your room 500€). Yet, I'd say that this is a solid 3-star hotel that should cost 300€.

The staff is not prepared for a 5 star GL. They don't seem to have received any training, in the restaurant and in the common areas they talk loudly, when leaving no questions about how the stay went, ... The common spaces are not well sized for the number of rooms (endless queues for breakfast or eating in the restaurant, impossible on a rainy day to sit in a common space, despite the fact that the hotel was not full). One of the nights our bed was covered, without even having stretched the sheet underneath, after 22:00 there is no one left from the room service to cover this service (unbecoming of a hotel of this category), the receptionist went up to make the bed at 22:15. We also left the room at 8:00 turning on the green light to make it public that our room was available to be cleaned. It would be appropriate to have customer service as an apology for this fact.

During our stay at the Canfranc Estación Hotel, we were thoroughly impressed by the beautiful design that seamlessly blends historic charm with modern luxury. The architecture and decor captured the essence of the hotel's history while providing every modern comfort. Each morning, we were treated to a fantastic buffet breakfast, offering a wide array of delicious options. The staff's exceptional service made our experience even more memorable; they were attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with a smile. Our time at Canfranc Estación was truly a perfect blend of elegance, comfort, and outstanding hospitality.

Really fantastic hotel with a very special history, great service and nice food. We enjoyed the stay a lot!

We were welcomed with a glass of champagne on arrival, our car was parked for us, and our bags were taken to our comfortable, spacious , and well equipped room. We enjoyed a swim in the small pool, accompanied by a mocktail (€20 per person to use the pool. The dinner in Le Internationale was excellent - great service and food, The lamb is exceptional. The cocktail bar, like the rest of the hotel, has a very nice 1920s ambience. Breakfast is a good buffet with an excellent range of dishes cooked on demand. Not cheap but worth it to stay in this iconic building
