There is a very good connection by bus to the home from both airports in the island.
Strategically placed near the beachfront of Caletillas and Candelaria area, a charming old fishing village that has grown to become a favorite get-away and weekend spot for local citizens, and a few knowing tourists as well. A mere 10 minutes drive from Santa Cruz, the modern capital of Tenerife, Candelaria is also the traditional destination for yearly spiritual pilgrimages from everywhere in the seven Canary Islands.
