This hotel is promoted through social media and its website as a top four-star establishment. Naturally, that comes with a price tag, which we were happy to pay in our enthusiasm for a few days of the promised luxury and comfort. Unfortunately, the reality was a major let-down. The room we were given was well below standard. It was small, poorly furnished, and certainly not worthy of a four-star rating. It felt more like a budget showroom than a premium hotel room – more “Ikea Ville” than boutique hotel. The bathroom was far too small and hadn’t even been properly finished. The bed was undersized and, with its creased and carelessly thrown-on bedspread, didn’t feel the least bit inviting. Storage space was practically non-existent: the tiny wardrobe contained not only the minibar but also the safe, leaving no room to hang clothes properly. Overall, the room was incredibly uncomfortable and absolutely not in line with what one should expect from a four-star hotel. When we brought our concerns to the management, we were met with complete indifference. We were told that “everyone else is happy,” and no effort was made to address or compensate for our dissatisfaction. In fact, the attitude we received bordered on arrogance. Just because there’s a large garden and a swimming pool doesn’t mean a hotel automatically deserves a four-star rating. Luxury is about quality, comfort, and service — not just appearance. We will certainly not be returning, and we consider this kind of hotel management to be deeply unprofessional and exploitative.
