Can Canto de Marina Agroturismo

All good, very quiet and cozy place! although things are missing. good food and waitress a 10 but it's always the same don't you rest? We have slept very well the whole stay, very nice place! breakfast a bit poorly organized, all staff very nice

We have spent 10 days at the wanderful Can Canto de Marina. Really a great place for relax and enjoying the sea, the nature good food and good drink. The place in just perfectly located from the playas Es Trenc and Sa Rajada Very convenient located from the airport but also to explore the island. The location is on a large land and so well settled that peaceful is guaranteed. 16 rooms spaceful and rooms are available. Forniture is minimal but efficient and pleasant. The private shaded patio is perfect to relax and drink a good glass of wine. The king beds are the most confortable I've ever slept in. The housed linen are of very good quality and also swimming pool towels are provided. The common spaces are just perfectly settled. The swimming pool area is large and beautiful with very confortable and big shaded beds. There is a very large garden with fountains and little lake as well. In the agroturismo vegetables, fruits and little animals are being growth So anything from the nature you can find in the morning breakfast buffet is served in the cozy veranda. Here you can find anything you deserve: fresh fruits, cheese, ham, bred, home made marmelad, juices, and many other tasty appetizers. Eggs & omelet are freshly made. The restaurant offers dinner as well. The food, prepared by the young but very capable chef, is delicious and tasty. Many traditional dishes as well the fresher fish and meat are available on the menu but also some extra proposals of the day. Everything is served with vegetables from their cultivation. All the 5 dinners we have had offered us more that expected at a reasonable price. Last but not least the very young Team leads by Vanessa is so efficient and kind that you day always starts with a sunny smile! If you deserve natural landscape, calm, genuine food and hospitality, this is your place, a little paradise!

An absolute gem 💎 of a place What can I say, we have stayed twice now, june 2022, they hadn’t been opened long, such a big improvement especially with the buffet breakfast, stayed October 2023 and they have just perfected the breakfast and it’s just amazing. Very friendly helpful staff, room lovely and clean, just what you need. Beautiful setting and so peaceful. Short walk to Majorca’s best beaches, a frequent visitor to Majorca and travelled around the island a lot, it’s safe to say the beaches are the best on the island, you could easily be in the Caribbean absolutely stunning. Will be returning for a 3rd time.

We really loved Canto de Marina. The location was stunning, quiet, clean, and with the car you could reach all the greatest beaches of the Island. The room had a terrace, it was very comfortable and it also had a coffee machine! The AC was a little bit noisy, they tried to fix it but they couldn't. Anyway, nothing to worry about!

As a permanent resident of Mallorca and having lived here for 27 years I feel I have good idea of what to expect here. I would normally consider a 4 star rating here for Can Canto but there were just a few things that really disappointed me and let the establishment down. Interestingly one or two of the items have been mentioned previously in other reviews and still seem not to have been acted upon. Some of them mind you such as installing small fridges in the rooms have been as well as providing a small basket to put our shower gel into etc. I never review to be nasty or negative unless I have been given reason to but in the hope that lessons are learnt or improvements considered to ensure that the place becomes better and also in the hope that I would want to return. The staff were GREAT! The room cleaning ladies were helpful and provided us wih more soap when needed and the room was always immaculate. Elsa at front of house was helpful, attentive and professional. Jen the waitress was entertaining and efficient and Estella too was a lovely young lady. Chef from Menorca was an attentive and smiley chap BUT also clearly went to a lot of trouble over his presentation and attempts to provide good food. We DID enjoy the food including the small tasters at breakfast such as the gazpacho. We LOVED the fact that there is a garden growing herbs and fruit and vegetables. We walked around the gardens and see a productive future for it but as long as it is cared for and things like Basil are not left to "overgrow". The dining area itself is pleasant and would be nice both in winter and summer. One concern we had here was that the sun is right in your face at breakfast. There are shades that could be lowered in the outdoor area and they SHOULD be every morning. The menu was straight forward and simple. I ordered Eggs Benedict two days in a row but did not get them either day. I got one fried egg on a piece of toast on avocado instead. I am not sure if this was a misunderstanding or something but Eggs Benedict was clearly written on the menu. The third day i just asked for eggs on toast which I got. :) Breakfast was slow in coming every day and not sure if this was down to a lack of staff? Breakfast overall kinda just lacked some organisation and was a bit of an effort to get through..food remained good though as was dinner the one night we chose to eat there. GOOD wine list by the way! Our room was super and remained incredibly cool during the day even when we had been out for hours and had NOT left the air conditioning on. The a/c when use was efficient and quiet and did its job. The room was adequately laid out and I was grateful to find that small fridges have now been installed in the rooms which is ESSENTIAL. There is NO free bottle of water on arrival which interests me these days. This is not a cheap place to stay and a bottle of water per guests should be provided I feel or at the very least maybe on arrival at check in even....? The shower gel

Sehr enttäuschend! Vor der Buchung war die Kommunikation mit Xisco (dem Besitzer) sehr schnell und freundlich. Doch als wir wegen eines plötzlichen Todesfalls in der Familie nach Barcelona reisen mussten und die Reservierung nicht wahrnehmen konnten, kam keinerlei Verständnis oder Entgegenkommen. Auf Nachrichten und Anrufe wurde zunächst nicht reagiert. Stattdessen wurde der Betrag einfach von der Karte abgebucht, ohne vorherige Antwort oder Gespräch. Erst nach mehrfachem Nachfragen erhielten wir die knappe Nachricht: „Buenas tardes, dirección ha decidido aplicar los términos de la reserva. Lo sentimos.“ Es geht uns nicht um das Geld, sondern um die Art und Weise: In so einer familiären Ausnahmesituation wäre es das Mindeste gewesen, die Möglichkeit einer Umbuchung auf ein anderes Wochenende anzubieten. Stattdessen bekamen wir keinerlei Menschlichkeit zu spüren. Wir finden es sehr schade, dass mit Gästen so umgegangen wird, während gleichzeitig Zimmer leer stehen und in Angeboten erscheinen. Für uns ist das eine respektlose und kalte Haltung. Wir können dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen. Español: ⭐☆☆☆☆ Muy decepcionante. Antes de la reserva, la comunicación con Xisco (el dueño) fue rápida y amable. Pero cuando tuvimos un fallecimiento en la familia y fue necesario viajar a Barcelona, no recibimos ninguna comprensión ni flexibilidad. No contestaron llamadas ni mensajes al principio, y directamente cargaron el dinero en la tarjeta sin avisar. Solo después de insistir varias veces recibimos una escueta respuesta: “Buenas tardes, dirección ha decidido aplicar los términos de la reserva. Lo sentimos.” No se trata del dinero, sino de la manera de actuar: en una situación familiar tan delicada, lo mínimo sería ofrecer la posibilidad de trasladar la reserva a otro fin de semana. En lugar de eso, no hubo ni un gesto de humanidad. Nos entristece ver que se trata así a los clientes, mientras las habitaciones se siguen ofreciendo en portales por falta de ocupación. Una actitud fría e irrespetuosa. No podemos recomendar este hotel.
