Somni Cambrils

Cambrils is a nice seaside destination with a great selection of restaurants and shops. We were here to rest and relax and to soak in some sunshine and we were not disappointed. Therefore, I cannot comment on the other activities available. The kitchenware was OK, but most RCI locations we have experienced had a better supply. e.g. no electric kettle and a very old filter coffee maker. The welcome pack was not very welcoming as it seemed that 2/3 of it was comprised of all the ways you could be charged fees for assorted things. It is also the first place I have gone where they charge a fee to check out a pool/beach towel!

The location is nice. A severe sewage odor in the bathroom for the 7 days. All appliances worked. Beds were older, but did not prevent sleep. The staff member at reception is lovely, cleaning was nice. I cannot recommend based on other RCI properties that are up to date and merit good ratings. Barcelona is ~1.5 hrs away. Beach is rocky. Beach paseo is wonderful to walk. Easy to get to Cambrils for other day trips - Girona Jewish Quarter! Codornui wine tour was lovely, Barcelona must be done - Sagrada Familia CANNOT be. missed, Miravet is just OK, Reus and Tarragona are just OK, though FRIDA restaurante in Tarragona is 5 stars and worth a drive for lunch or dinner.

To start of - Cambrils is a beautiful little town with wonderful beaches, and a great beachfront promenade that is perfect for walking and biking. Unfortunately, this so-called resort left a lot to be desired. First of all they charge extra for everything including air-conditioning, utilities surcharge, Wi-Fi, room with view and parking that was extremely hard to find and very scary. We ended up not even using the parking garage due to its condition and parked in the street instead which seemed much safer. The accommodations were very basic and outdated . Air conditioning was in the living room only - none in the bedroom. The pool was cold and there was no place to sit on the pool deck not even one chair or lounger - have never seen that anywhere before. The gentleman who checked us in, was not very friendly. Our ocean view was only visible if you really stretched your neck from the top deck. Overall, we made the best of the situation since we did enjoy the town. I would not recommend this property.

Arriving in Cambrils with a very detailed decxription for the way we found this excellent Resort. Getting a nice appartement in second floor we had a comfortable furnished one bedroom appartement with complete kitchen and nice balkonjy. Check in was easy and really fast. A pool in the centre and a nice little restaurant completed what we wished for our vacagion. Even a bicycle space was provided inside the rfesort. WSe loved it and will come back.

Résidence très bien (accueil, équipements récents et fonctionnels, prestations de ménage, environnement, la climatisation serait un plus appréciable). Localisation dans Cambrils parfaite (plage, commerces, restaurants…). .

Super résidence avec piscine. À proximité de la plage et du centre ville. Pas besoin de la voiture. Tout peut se faire à pied. Le personnel est aimable. La résidence est très propre et bien entretenue.

Appartement vieillot et mal entretenu, pas de climatisation, terrasse donnant sur une rue passante, matériel de cuisine défectueux, vaisselle minimale pour 4 personnes , eau stagnante dans le bac à douche et moisisssures des joints, ménage mal fait, saleté et poussière sous les lits et canapés

Résidence très agréable de par sa proximité de la mer et de toutes les commodités. La résidence est très propre, confortable et tranquille. Excellent restaurant à l'entrée de la résidence et plutôt bon marché.

Nem parece resort, quartos sujos, cheio de poeira, água quente insuficiente para tomar banho, sendo necessário esperar 45 min para reaquece-la, controle com pilha estourada dentro. Quartos nem um pouco preparados para a ventania do litoral, fazendo um barulho horrível durante toda a madrugada sendo impossível dormir tranquilamente. Uma gigante decepção, nao recomendo nem um pouco…
