Zafiro Palmanova

OCTOBER 2024. It's one of the best hotels we've been to so far. We booked AI and had a family room, #4304, on the 4th floor, the main room was with a balcony, and the stairs led to the top floor with terrace & and jacuzzi, incl sun beds. Jacuzzi is heated with 35°C. There are several bars with great and quick service. The drinks are prepared out of branded ingredients. You need to show your room card or share the room number. We usually went for cava, daiquiri, and cosmopolitan. There was a main restaurant on the ground floor; the selection of food and drinks was awesome, the staff was very nice. I did not find anything I could complain about. We tried as well all A la card restaurants, Italian, Mediterranean & Japanese. The food was a culinary highlight of our trip. For lunch we went to a restaurant next to the main pool. It's also a la card. Service was excellent, and the food was prepared fresh and served quickly. There is also a water children playground. If you take a shortcut from the back of the hotel, it'll take you 5 mins to the beach. Conclusion: fab hotel with high quality food and drinks, Jacuzzi is a beautiful nice to have upgrade with a fantastic view, close to the airport - approx 25 mins. Thank you, we had a great stay.

We recently stayed at the Zafiro Palmanova and had a wonderful experience overall. The service at the hotel was exceptional, with the restaurant staff being particularly excellent. They were always friendly, polite, and welcoming, making our dining experiences truly enjoyable., having a small side play area next to the restaurant really helps with small kids, The kids club and entertainment team deserve a special mention as well; they kept the little fella entertained and added to the overall enjoyment of our holiday. We initially booked a pool view room but were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a terraced room complete with a hot tub—definitely a nice bonus! The room itself was spacious and well-appointed. However, as we were three adults and one child, the sleeping arrangements were a bit tight. The room would be perfect for two adults and two children, but we managed. The pools at the hotel are fantastic, with the bubble ball being a highlight. However, there is a rule about not leaving sunbeds unattended for more than 40 minutes. While this rule is understandable, I noticed that it wasn’t always enforced consistently, which could be improved. The hotel has one main buffet restaurant with good food quality, though the options can become a bit repetitive after a few days. You can also order a la carte, but it’s within the same restaurant. The bar service, especially during the evening entertainment, was very good, with outdoor table service adding to the experience. The location of the hotel is also excellent—just a two -minute walk to the beach and close to the town of Palma Nova, which made exploring the area very convenient. On the down side the hotel is a bit dated. All in all, we had a very enjoyable stay at the Zafiro Palmanova and would definitely consider returning in the future.

We stayed at the Zafiro for 3 nights with my wife and children and had an excellent stay. The staff are really friendly and the kids entertainment is great. The rooms are really clean and tidy also. We went full board and the range of food is excellent, it also caters well for vegans and vegetarians. Overall an excellent stay at Zafiro Palma Nova.

Me and my family had a perfect stay at zafiro hotel. The food was very nice and had something for everyone. I loved the alla carte at lunch, its nice to be able to have a Restaurant meal as well as an all inclusive buffet meal. The hotel is very well presented. They had gardeners working, the scenery of the hotel is just beautiful. We took a few walks around and we didnt see a hotel that looks better than this. When we first got into our room we had the balcony view of a construction site so we discussed this with reception and they were extremely helpful and moved us to rooms with a sea view which was much better. When we tried to set up the couch bed there was loose breadsticks underneath the cushion which wasn’t very nice, i also advise that they restore the putting green because that would make the hotel much better. The cocktails were freshly made and very tasty and the service was very fast at the indoor bar although at the pool bar you would be waiting a long time to be served. I think the staff are the best thing about this place they always make you feel very welcome and are well composed and attentive. My biggest issue about this hotel is that i didnt want to leave . I have had the best holiday of my life at zafiro palmanova i had such a good experience. Hopefully i will be returning next year

We could not fault the service - staff were friendly and helpful. We always felt welcome. The room was great - large and clean. The pools were great (the main pool is very cold in October but you have the indoor pool and another outdoor heated pool as well as the heated kids pool). The buffet was great - smoked salmon, fresh omlettes and fruit in the morning among the usual available. The buffet in evenings was always varied with a great choice of meat, fish and veggie options. The offerings for kids was good too. There is a small softplay area which also has kids movies on in the evenings which is brilliant! My daughter is not a fan of kids clubs on holiday but Zafiro has shorter kids activities on so you can dip in and out so she was happy to join on a few occasions. The staff were great with the kids! The only downside is that the kids playground is at the back of the big pirate ship and therefore not visible to parents from afar. The biggest issue with this is that the playground backs onto the carpark and street and has no locked gate or fence so any one can walk in or out. Otherwise a brilliant stay and I would highly recommend!

Fantastic family hotel… pool is great for the kids and our teenagers really enjoyed the entertainment. Very close to shops and some fantastic restaurants. We were really impressed with Palma nova. The rooms are modern and clean and we all loved the long pillows!! Highly recommend !
