I found an authentic oasis in the Klein Karoo. From the historical photos and buildings to the beautiful gardens. The accommodation was gorgeous with a beautiful view of the valley. The friendly staff were warm and welcoming. I’ll definitely be back!

Had a quick but great stay in Calitzdorp at the Queen of Calitzdorp. My second visit also did not disappoint. Will recommend this for all. Clean, comfy and spacious.

My wife and I stayed at The Queen of Calitzdorp for two nights on 10 and 11 June 2024. We were very satisfied with the entire experience, especially the friendly and helpful reception staff, and the delicious breakfasts. Bruce & Dianne

Don’t dismiss Calitizdorp as just a quick drive-through in the middle of the Little Karoo. It’s a lovely town and the Queen of Calitzdorp hotel is one of its jewels. We had a lovely few days there and explored the region including some of the great wine farms in the area. The hotel hosts were welcoming and friendly. The room was very comfortable with a beautiful view over the neighboring vineyards and out towards the mountains in the distance. The breakfasts were tasty and served quickly after ordering. We will definitely be back if the opportunity arises and can recommend the Queen to anyone wanting to stop over in Calitzdorp.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Queen, lovely room and surroundings and an excellent breakfast, also enjoyed the swimming pool. The staff were very friendly and helpful and gave us lots of advice re eating places in the area. A must see during your visit is the Museum, really first class.

We stayed for two nights with our fat and had a great time: very good recommendations from the staff regarding restaurants & wineries. The cats were very sweet and our children loved them. Besides the hotel we can only recommend Calitzdorp for a stay.

Wonderful guesthouse, beautiful archicekture, nice garden and pool. We enjoyed staying there for one night and were grateful for the restaurant advice. The lady attraktiv the reception recommended a little restaurant on the same street.

Excellent stay Staff was very friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations and made a call to make a reservation The Pool is a nice area to relax on Hot data Breakfast was very good and plenty of choice!
