Globales Simar

Just returned from 10 days at Simar hotel. The hotel is classed as a 3 star and this is what you get. The hotel is very clean, rooms specious, towels changed every day and beds changed every other day. On the down side, we arrived I the early hours, greeted by “we have been waiting for you” not our fault the flight was delayed, checked in and told our room was No 1, although 2 men on reception no on offered to help with our cases. The bed was a pull out bed settee, so you had the arms of the settee going down the side of the bed (see photo)making it difficult to get in and out of bed. The hotel is split into 2 buildings, the restaurant being in the other block to what out room was in, so you had to cross the road to reach the restaurant, this is not made clear in the hotel details. The food was just about ok, best night was the when they did a BBQ. there was a comfortable bar below the restaurant but this was never open so there was nowhere comfortable to sit in the evening, there was a disco bar or by the pool area but nowhere else. There are plenty of sun beds around the pool area near the bar

Here at the moment Food is terrible so far Entertainment is none existent kids club 8:30 till 9 then bingo it's now 9.55 still nothing on booked a room for 3 had to climb over bed to get on to patio little choice for drinks things improve If u want nothing to do then this is the place for u views are great

OK so it's cheap and cheerful, very clean room and cleaned every day! Pool area is great with a pool bar ( pool is very cold) . All inclusive except your top shelf spirits are separate. Food is good but the burgers and hot dogs from the pool bar are amazing! There's entertainment throughout the day for kids with the entertainment team. Great walks around the surrounding area and views of the mountains and sea are breathtaking. Overall was great holiday. If your looking for luxury though, this hotel is not for you!

Great holiday. Very helpful and smiling staff. Best regards, Slavin, the animator, a very nice man. The views from the hotel are beautiful. When it comes to food, I think everyone will find something for themselves. I wholeheartedly recommend the hotel.

Another wonderful trip to the Simar It is just like being at home We were greated bu Patrick the manager like we were long lost friends. All the staff are brilliant Tonii and Juan and the girls on reception and a person who we hadn't seen for years who was doing some training that was stuart Loly the restaurant manager and all.here staff treated with such friendliness we were honoured Special mention to Maria the new waitress a great asset The bar staff Mamado Dani and Ainhoa were Perfect serving the correct drinks and also with a big smile Slevin and Maddie kept us entertained day and night with endless enthusiasm they are both a must to keep for next year Food room entrainment and the whole hotel are perfect for us Thank you all so much for a great holiday We are booked already for next year

Fabulous view from balcony which we are delighted with. The food is good and enough variety from day to day. The reception and restaurant staff are really friendly. The room perfectly adequate and comfortable. Some noise from the disco bar but ok - we don’t have children . The overriding negative for the whole ‘all inclusive’ holiday is having to drink from plastic cups in the evening at the bar. Totally understandable for when by the pool, but we just don’t feel like we’re having a proper holiday evening - May as well be camping. We asked for glasses and offered to pay for glasses but told only if we buy the premium drinks. So we bought glasses from a shop, bought wine from the supermarket, and spent our evenings on the balcony. This lets the hotel down massively and it is not a big change to make, to give a much better holiday experience.
