Ola Apartamentos Cala d'Or

Had rhe best few days staying here. Had a lovely one bed apartment overlooking the pool. Good size for 2 and thee comfiest beds i think ive ever had on holiday. The apartments are so central for everything. Shops on the doorstep and bars a plenty. Beech is a 5 min walk. Big mercadona and marina is a 15 min walk away. Never an issue getting sunbeds. I know the bar/pool is a seperate business and they dont like u taking your own food etc but i had a bottle of water every day and was never an issue. Just popped back to my room for lunch etc. i would 100% return here and already looking for next year. My ONLY gripe is the toilet in my apartment was in the bedroom which was a pain if my partner was later in bed or up in night but if i came back i would get a diff one. 2 tips i would say is when u are checking in if u have big suitcases one person take the passports to reception and check in as the ramp is very steep to get up and down with cases. My other tip is if u are looking for amazing cocktails head up to fantasy park is where the kids square is a few mins walk away and in the corner is a wee bar €6 for thee best cocktails and a great place to people watch. Realy cant fault much at all and would love to come back. Cala d'or is realy a beautiful place

Our stay at Ola was amazing. We had a large terrace room which changed our trip. Relaxing on the balcony and making our way to the town for food, it didn’t feel much different than a villa but for a fraction of the price. The room was clean and as updated as any standard villa in Spain. The staff were incredible. The staff on reception upon check in and check out were incredibly friendly and gave us all the information we would need. We only stayed for four nights so only had a clean once. As we were staying one night we didn’t need a full clean and the cleaners were happy just to take our bins and change our towels with no fuss. The location of the building is great with a short walk down to the main strip in cala d’or and Cala Petita and it is also right next to my favourite ice cream shop in the area. I will definitely be returning and will hold the memories made here close. Thank you Ola Apartamentos, I look forward to visiting again.

Arrived quite late/early morning, apartment that we had was ok, it served us for exactly what we needed which was just a base to go back to. Beds are comfy, apartment clean however there were a couple of things which was a bit off putting, one of which was the air con stunk of cigarette smoke when we first turned it on, luckily it did stop after keeping it on but it was also quite a weak air con unit so it took a while for the room to actually cool down. The room did smell quite a bit too, almost like a damp smell which made it quite humid. There are also cockerels nearby so it can be quite loud first thing and throughout the day but you sort of get used to it. Pool area is nice, only a few sunbed as the area isn’t massive but we never struggled to get a bed. Pool and bar don’t actually open until 10am, and to be fair most of town doesn’t really kick in until around then anyway. The pool bar and pool I feel is owned by different people to the apartments, reason being is there are strictly no drinks or food that can be bought in, you must buy this from the pool bar which is very expensive. Cala Dor itself is stunning, would definitely recommend the beach, probably one of the best beaches we’ve been to in a while. There are rocks that you could walk across along the sea, really scenic views, the beach is about a 5 min walk from the apartments and very easy to get to. Would definitely come back to Cala Dor but probably not at this accommodation.

We stayed here for 9 nights in July (couple with2 kids aged 4 and 6). After reading reviews, I requested a room as far away from the entertainment as possible... and they met this request! Very pleased with our apartment in block 4. It was next to the smaller, saltwater pool and a short walk from the bigger one. The 1 bedroom apartments are well equipped with 3 separate patio/outdoor spaces, great for the extra storage. We put our kids in the bedroom and slept in the living area. Beds/pillows all comfortable and the shutters in the bedroom block out the light. Towels replaced regularly and apartment cleaned every 3rd day. The hotel is a few minutes walk from various shops, restaurants and an ice cream place. It's a ten minute walk to the main restaurant area and only around 7 minutes to the beautiful beaches. You'll read reviews about the Tropical garden being a separate establishment.... this didn't matter to us and I found the staff/entertainment and food here was excellent (I've written a separate review about Tropical Garden). The pool here was great... lifeguard very friendly but at times we felt we were being watched/warned a little too cautiously. It was really wonderful to have the option of two swimming pools, and even in July we always got sunbeds no matter what time we arrived to the pool at. We frequently had the smaller pool all to ourselves! Staff at this hotel were very helpful and friendly. I don't think I have any negative points! This was our first time in Cala D'Or and if we were to go back I'd be happy to stay in Ola again.

We stayed here as a couple for 10 nights, room was modern and clean, beds comfortable and a really good size balcony, we never had any problems getting a sunbed, all staff were brilliant, yes drinks at bar were a bit pricey but average for the area, food was really good, the lifeguard roseanna was a breath of fresh air and hilarious shout out to George for his entertainment he works incredibly hard and interacts with all guests, the ola apartments are well placed a short walk to beaches and bars, would definitely recommend Palma is a must for a visit

Excellent apartment close to all shops restaurants and beach,balcony looked onto pool area and tropical gardens with the entertainment each night..couldn't fault it..Will deffo recommend and return kitchen was well equipped,and comfortable beds,
