Probably the worst Hotel I’ve stayed in Spain The staff were miserable and unhelpful Except the Manager she was pleasant and helpful. We booked through LOVE HOLIDAYS,absolutely no customer care at all ,Advise booking with another holiday company. They didn’t see any problems with the rooms were allocated ( see pics)

Cala Bona is absolutely beautiful but this hotel isn’t. Spent 18 nights there and didn’t get one hot meal and saw stall pulling meat off the bone with their hands. Paid £3728 and got a rabbit hutch no more than 2feet away from people laying on sun beds round the pool. Was informed there was a harbour view room but will cost an extra 1000euros. When on balcony in this room , couldn’t see harbour because of a large tree straight in front. Jet2 didn’t seem interested and said they would make a note of our complaint. Keep away from this hotel. The Cala Bona hotel and the La Bantus hotel are the places to stay.

Room 017. Advertised as terrace with pool view. Please see attached pictures for reference. Terrible. No view, no privacy. Complained to hotel and travel rep. Nothing done. Food- breakfast cold and when items ran out it took an age to replenish. Evening meal - very poor quality and selection. Again, food cold and replenishment slow. We dined out most evenings after checking what was available. We left some meals too. Not edible - the orange skinned fish and salmon “fillet”. Horrendous. Sun terrace dirty and sun beds need a freshen up. Pool area ok. Very very disappointed.

Great holiday for the price we paid, rooms were in good condition and cleaned with towels replaced daily and beds made, fridge and safe are free and work well, would recommend a pool or sea-view room as our room was a superior mountain view room on the first floor and sometimes would be loud at night when the bins are being emptied. Sound-proofing was not great so could hear when taps and showers were being used in neighbouring rooms, other than that rooms were perfect. Dinner was good for what you pay for but had a lack of traditional English options so fussy eaters may struggle, however the option to have meats cooked to order at the buffet was a highlight and was very good, dinner was great with plenty of traditional options as well as a lot of other foods and drinks to choose from. Pool area was good and was not an issue to get sun-loungers, if you go up the stairs at the pool, however a fair amount of parasols were dated and broken, pool bar was great with many options of food and drinks at fair prices. Overall a great stay in a lively area for the prices paid and would definitely recommend staying here.

If you go on the star system then this is not a great 4 star hotel. However if you said to me this was a 3 star hotel, then I would say that this was a good hotel. The food was ok but you do need to step outside your comfort zone. If you require gluten free and vegan you could find this difficult. However the food was nice but purchasing a drink with your included meal was strange even water was not free. The pool area was ok, looked well maintained. Sun beds are close together and you would have to ask if the area is big enough. In the indoor pool is very small so on a bad weather day you could struggle. The rooms are clean and the maid does her best. Not easy cleaning rooms which are a little tired. The entertainment was at 9:30 pm and was on most nights. When we hit July the entertainment changed and we activities during the day and at night. There was no TUi rep at the hotel but Jet 2 Holidays do. The real strange thing about this hotel is it is in two halves separated by a small road. As the hotel is on the front coaches can not access the front. So most pickups and drop offs are at bus stop located near the back of the hotel. When you get dropped off. Walk down the small road by the open bar and kids play area (also mini golf) .. turn left and you will see a sign on your right for the hotel reception. Traveler Tips. Eat as much as you can for breakfask. Saves you having to buy lunch. Also the restaurant is open til 10:30. If the entertainment is not to your liking then there are a number of bar to right of the hotel. One of the good ones is the Music bar. It’s about a 10min walk. To get to the main beach, turn right out the front of the hotel and follow the path for 20 mins. There is a great shopping area with night street shops plus Burger King and McDonalds. If your pickup is before breakfast book with reception a take away breakfast the night before you leave.
