Holiday Inn & Suites Cairo Maadi

Throughout our stay, the staff at this hotel were extremely welcoming and helpful. The rooms were impeccable and extremely comfortable. Our breakfast was delicious and the location was convenient to major attractions in Maadi, which we also enjoyed.

This is a great, family friendly hotel to stay at. I used IHG rewards to book several nights, and upon my arrival I was happy to see we were upgraded to a Nile River-facing room. The manager recognized my status with IHG, and provided breakfast complementary (there is a large buffet with fruits, breads and proteins, a coffee machine, etc.). Later in the afternoon we received a bowl of fresh fruit and a plate of little desserts! A few other staff made the stay extra comfortable: Alaa - she is with customer relations, and handled a few room service requests over the phone then followed up with me to ensure I was fully satisfied. The next day she went out of her way to help my family curate a trip to the pyramids, a camel ride and museum. She walked me through using the food delivery app, "talabat" (like Uber Eats). She offered a few dining places that would give my family a taste of the culture and work with my kids. I was impressed by her resourcefulness and ideas to save me some money while touring around town. Thank you! Mustafa - He provided housekeeping service for our room, was fun and friendly to my children, and worked around our schedule to make our room clean and cozy. He similarly followed up with me to ensure things were how I like them. Nancy - She tended our table for breakfast a few times. She ensured our table needs were looked after in a pleasant and professional manner. For areas of improvement, I'd recommend that the pool rules be relaxed a little. E.g. Let kids jump in the pool if they want to. All in all, this mid-tier hotel over delivers on value and friendly service. I would definitely stay here again.
