Causeway Tavern Bed & Breakfast

As a traveller on foot it was little far from amenities (shops, cafes) as food is not served in the (cosy, very friendly) bar. However, a hearty breakfast is provided. Despite needing to leave before the allotted breakfast time the kitchen opened ahead of time to accommodate my early start - and I was treated to a real feast. Thank you, I was very grateful!!

Absolutely best place I have ever stayed. Proprietors went above and beyond to help us when our car would not work. They assisted us by fixing it and making sure we enjoyed our stay. Nothing was too much trouble and they are the embodiment of kindness. My daughter Ava loved the cats Lucky, Foxy and Rambo and was found at 5.40am trying to call a cat to her in her sleep. She now wants us to get a cat. She also wants to move in with you all down there and has asked that we visit again soon. Thank you so much Michaela and Mark for all of your assistance and kindness. The saying everyone is a friend you just haven’t met yet is true for these lovely people and we will definitely be back. Thank you for your time, assistance and kindness. You will kit find anywhere else like this no matter how far you go this truly is a gem.

Just don’t go there! We could not even find it and good thing. The address listed took us to a Spar station in Bushmills on Google maps. So we called and were told to drive a couple of miles out of town. Still didn’t find it. The man said he would call us back and he never did. By then it was dark so we stayed at Gray’s Inn and had a lovely evening. BUT still had to pay for the room that was not findable in Google maps. Just don’t book at Causeway Tavern B & B!!
