Here at the pembrey inn the place is so clean and tidy and the food is sensational from the new and improved chef Ben 👨🍳 I'd highly recommend all friends and family here 😀 and especially to the local community and everyone traveling down this place is a must such a welcoming place and so friendly. Everyone go follow there Facebook page.

We had the warmest welcome with our 2 dogs. The menu was great Staff were so friendly and helpful. There was a good menu plus a specials board. Husband had the lamb shank which looked delicious (felt jealous) but then my beef lasagne arrived which was spot on. The service throughout was friendly and quick. Thank you all.

Don’t Bother What a let down Starters Garlic mushroom were cold ! Main . Gammon is so thin and cooked until it’s hard and black burnt bits on it it’s advertised with Egg and pineapple but it never arrived !! Curry is advertised with popadom it never arrived Onion rings were cooked to hell and back Pepper corn sauce finally arrived just as we were finishing our meal I added a little to the last bit of food and had to leave it , it was not pleasant so it was a blessing it was late . Kids meal should have come with a drink , it also never arrived ! Chips are hard and tasteless We obviously didn’t try puddings Spelling could be better on the menu Serloin / Serlion if your unsure is Sirloin Steak spelt twice in one sentence as above

After hearing good reports on the Pembrey Inn I took the family for a midweek treat. Staff are all lovely and pleasant and I know they are running a reduced menu but sadly the standard of food wasn't there. Good points Polite staff Homemade chips Kids meal nice but pricey Bad points Understaffed Items not on menu after ordered Wrong ingredients on several dishes Poorly cooked, (deep fried sausage and raw cabbage, no love in the gravy) Was a lot of quantity not quality 50 quid spent on 3 soft drinks, 1 starter, 2 Mains and a kids meal which wouldn't mind usually but didn't enjoy. Both left half our food As a local i hope they can pick themselves up to their former glory reviews but sadly I won't be back in a hurry I have included a pic of my "giant Yorkshire" and sausage and mash

Unfortunately the meals were not up to normal standards,very disappointed with meals and desserts,young waitress was very helpful,very expensive for what we had ,it's was a birthday celebration,will not go there again ,this venue used to be pretty good

The food was excellent and reasonably priced. A great place to be for your food and drinks. The owner and staff go the extra mile to ensure you have a pleasant and enjoyable experience. I can Highly recommend the pembrey and country Inn. I shall be coming back soon.

ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING. Have been with family on six occasions, since 14th Dec 23. Sunday roast, mid week meals. Simply cannot fault staff, cleanliness, ambiance and of course the food. Good honest, home cooked fayre. Prices are exceedingly good for quality and quantity. I have never had a fresher salad served to me anywhere! I am very fussy, so please do yourself a favour and try the little gem, that is The Pembrey Country Inn. They consistently fail to disappoint!!!

this review is for the quality of the food only. my husband and I live locally and decided to visit the Pembrey Country Inn for a meal to celebrate our wedding anniversary. unfortunately the food was not up to standard expected. my husband ordered surf and turf and the only surf present in his meal was a few nugget shaped of mushed up prawns. I ordered the cod in batter and the meal was so well done that the batter shattered when i tried to eat it and the fish inside was non existent. the quality of the meal spoilt our celebrations and we left quickly after eating. we will certainly not be dining there again. on the other side the staff were very friendly and polite and very customer service - could not fault them

Dropped in this weekend past for a Sunday lunch and can firmly say it's the best me and my son have had in a good while. The establishment itself was clean and tidy and all staff were well presented and polite. Would highly recommend a visit.
