Made INN Vermont, an Urban-Chic Boutique B&B

Love this place! Linda let me check in early and was fantastic, gave me great tips on restaurants and is the ultimate hostess. The inn is quirky and fun, each room has great character. Located in a quiet and nice part of town, full of lovely grande homes. Great ambience. Fantastic views of Lake Champlain from the cupola. I highly recommend!

We just got back from Vermont to attend my daughter’s graduation from UVM. We stayed at Made in Vermont Bed and Breakfast. It was really nice and Linda is so sweet and accommodating. Plus, she’s really funny, which is a definite plus. We felt right at home there. She also cooked us such amazing breakfast’s. I was truly spoiled I highly recommend staying here if you go to Vermont 😊

Having travelled a lot, this was probably the best paw-sitive experience we ever had. Our Cocker Spaniel Nelly found not only a towel at the entrance for her wet paws, but was welcome to have breakfast with us, stroll around, had her own bowls, treats, water and even a toy waiting for her in the room. She loved it! And we too, because the beds are so comfortable and the breakfast is delicious. Linda is an excellent host.

Fabulous, Funky and one of our favorite Inn stays. Amazing atmosphere, sweet dream bedding and a to die for breakfast. Innkeeper Linda is fun and a great purveyor of things to do, places to go and restaurant recommendations. Five Stars. Times five.

My wife and I enjoyed three days and nights in Burlington while staying at Made Inn Vermont an eclectic, imaginative Bed and Breakfast near to the heart of downtown Burlington VT and right in the heart of Champlain College. I am not sure if it was Frank Sinatra or Tony Bennett or Janis Joplin I heard crooning on the steps at night but the music drifting through house provided a friendly spectral aura to our stay The breakfasts were wonderfully fresh and tasty. Special thanks to our hostess Linda for warm hospitality.

Talk about being “cat-fished”. Please check out the property in person before booking. Trip Advisor shows it as “the top hotel in Burlington” only because the property owner (upon checkout) requests “Give only 5-stars reviews or none at all”. That is SO misleading and unfair to seasoned travelers who put our trust in Trip Advisor when booking a hotel. The nightly price is ridiculously excessive for what you get. The experience in general is more like staying in a rundown Frat House. The website photos are mostly “stock” photos and room photos are above and beyond staged. You do NOT have a bathroom in your room. You have to walk down the end of a hallway to use the out-dated bathroom… bumping into half-dressed guests on your way. Every room in the house is cluttered with “stuff”, hardly a place to sit in common areas. The bedroom A/C wall unit is so loud, it is difficult to sleep. The outdoor hot tub is NOT the one pictured on the site…. it is in a dark overgrown backyard. Much like the exterior in general. it is actually gets 3 stars only for the great breakfast and Linda, who is a very hospitable hostess.

I came here for 3 nights with my French Bulldog, Jackson, and we both loved it and made ourselves at home. From the comfy bed to array of snacks & drinks to the delicious breakfast, there’s nothing not to love about this place! Linda was very helpful with restaurant and activities to bring Jackson and he especially loved getting some maple bacon at breakfast. Great location as it was walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and of course the beautiful Lake Champlain. I definitely want to take another trip up to Vernont in the fall and would stay here again, no questions asked.

We had a great time at Made Inn. Linda took good care of us, made sure we were comfortable, made amazing breakfasts, even got me a bag of GF breads because I asked her where she got the GF bread for her delicious avocado toasts. The mattress was very comfortable, the place peaceful, quirky and fun. Great record collection in our room, TV with Netflix and Hulu, etc., cute little desk and an Eames chair, games and fun books everywhere. Red heart balloons! Breakfast on the front porch or back garden oasis. Hot tub! Views of sunsets from the cupola, 24 hour a day snacks, treats, tea, beer, wine! Linda is a colorful character, I appreciate her desire to talk to her guests and take care of them, making sure they have fun in Burlington and at the inn. She also was very patient with our pup.

XOXOX Linda - we miss you already ❤️. What an amazing 4th of July wknd staying at your wildly Victorian Eclectic B&B busting at the seams with so many curated mediums of art. Rooms filled with beautiful flowers, candy, music 🎶. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Breakfast each morning. We arrived heartbroken after losing our Frenchie Murphy of 10yrs a week prior to our visit to VT and really had no plan on where or what to do. You were a blessing steering us to experience some incredible adventures like the Bike Trail on the causeway on Lake Champlain, so breathtaking. The many exhibits at Shelburne Museum - perhaps one of the best museums we have ever been to. The endless list of eateries you provided us with and we were so happy to have to you join us on our last evening together- what a TRIP. LOL. Thank you beautiful host for making this one of our Best 4th of July Weekends in a very long time. We look forward to staying again with you soon and will be HIGHLY RECOMMENDING your establishment to all who plan on visiting VT. ❤️🥂🌸🎶 - A Rare Gem of a B&B. Felt like home away from home.
