Days Inn by Wyndham Burleson Ft. Worth

First, when I got there, I asked for the non-smoking room that I booked. The Manager told that I booked a smoking room and that he didn't have any more non-smoking rooms available. I'm not a smoker and I NEVER book smoking rooms but I went ahead and took it. When I got to the room, the stench was almost unbearable. I would have gone back and demanded a room change but I was already running late for my event. I sprayed disinfectant and perfume and it still did nothing to cover it up. I also noticed a "sink" or dip in the middle of the bed but again I didn't have time to address it. When I returned I decided to make the best of it and tried to lay down, I immediately rolled to the middle! The sink was so big that I couldn't even sleep close to the edge of the bed where I like to sleep because I have bladder issues and it's easier access to the restroom. Instead I had to climb up and out of the bed all night. It was such a pain! This morning, everything I brought with me smelled like smoke! For a non-smoker it was awful! Even if I mistakenly booked a smoking room (which I don't think I did), the property could have done more to air out those rooms in-between guests. I can't believe even a smoker would want to stay in a room that smelled that bad! I brought the `sink' in the bed to the Manager's attention when I checked out and he just non-chalantly said, he'd look into it. But, honestly, I think he already knew and gave me the room on purpose because I'm black!

Staff sleeping in office area. Staff unavailable when called or ringing service bell. No indoor pool as advertised. No breakfast as advertised. Dirty, broken chairs, vents, leaking water

Our fridge didn’t work and there was two beers left over from the previous person who stayed. The cold food I brought ultimately had to be thrown away. We let the front desk know and they said they would switch the fridge out but never did.
