This is a great little property in need of some serious TLC. The mattress was pitted, the comforter fraying, ice maker inoperative, etc. That being the case, located in a great place with great restaurants next door. You can walk to a grocery and Starbucks. I would stay here again despite the shortcomings.

This hotel is really cute! The staff were all top notch. I wasn't super thrilled with the parking situation (an alley behind the hotel), but the staff assured me the whole area was covered with security cameras and no one bothered my car overnight. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

This was our first stay of many during our trip and was the best,from the minute we were checked in by Donovan I knew this place was special.Staff,and it didn't matter who was on front desk were kind and friendly,the rooms were older but well kept and the pastries and endless coffee at breakfast a nice touch.Situated in a lovely safe neighbourhood and walking distance to many eateries the Tangerine is a gem.Thank you to the whole team for a great stay.

The bathroom was very outdated, the bed wasn’t very comfortable but was in a good location to access universal studios and Warner brothers studio.

Recommended by my colleague. Stayed for two nights, didn’t get a chance to enjoy the swimming pool. Front desk staff was nice. Free breakfast (although only bakery items), free parking. Good location. Some noise from street traffic but not too bad. If the price could be more affordable it would be perfect.

What a deal and location! I booked last minute for a few days of fun at Universal. It's a 10-12 minute drive to the park. The staff is very friendly, room is clean and modern. A dozen restaurants, bars, and coffee shops are all within walking distance. I will be coming back again.
