Great place for a solo trip! It surprised me in positive ways with how friendly their staff and other travelers were. They give free water and coffee and the best: free and good info about the city of Buenos Aires. The shared rooms are really clean and organized with fairly comfortable beds. Definitely worth the price. You find all sort of people here, people working remotely, people staying for the night for business, teenage travelers on a gap year or even old people getting to know the world. They are only 2 negative points I would find fair to share: first, for myself, who happened to be working remotely while traveling, I found hard to find a good outlet or even a quiet place to sit on the hostel since it seemed that the music was being played all around. Fair to say that the WiFi was good but even a small room or open space for people who need a quiet place to focus without needing to pay more for it would be welcomed on those situations. Second: segregation, talking with others you see that the staff is unlikely to put Europeans and South Americans in the same room, they don’t really say anything about it but it’s hard to tell that it isn’t on purpose, I was personally hoping it would be more mixed. Besides that, I would recommend this place for anyone who needs a comfortable bed for few days or a lot in CABA. The location is amazing and the rebuilt building from the 60s gives the place an incredible aura. I see different rooms get different reviews from people but if you stay at room 405, know you’re safe about privacy and bathroom quality. Thank you for the staying Milhouse!
