Serene House with Charm on Golfcourse!

This fabulous house is located on the Briarcrest Country Club Golf Course (now the Phillips Event Center) in Bryan. Situated at the end of the cul de sac, the house exudes calm. Five sliding glass doors bring inside the serenity of the woods and golf course, and lead to patios and a deck perfect for relaxing, whether it be coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening! This house is a hidden gem, comfortable and private, but with quick access to everything including shopping, restaurants, medical facilities and schools. If you enjoy golf or tennis, the public Briarcrest golf course clubhouse is a short walk up the street. The house is located at the 7th Tee. Comprised of 2181 square feet, there are four bedrooms which sleep 8 comfortably, and three full baths. Built in 1974, it is slightly vintage to its roots, which we think adds to its charm! We've owned it since 2002, however, so the important things have been updated: new chair height toilets in each of the three bathrooms (don't laugh, a lifesaver if your knees are shot from playing hard!). There is a new on-demand hot water heater system to accommodate your whole party's needs when showering before an event! And upon request from a previous guest, the living room now boasts a 65-inch Smart-tv, bigger and better for watching football games! And a new electric ceramic cooktop has been installed in the kitchen. The bedrooms and kitchen are well appointed to meet each guest's needs. With memory foam platform type beds, Egyptian cotton linens, plush spa bath towels, matching dishes set for 12, matching wineglasses, brand new pots and pans for the new cooktop, our goal is your comfort and pleasure. The living room has a gorgeous leather couch and loveseat set, and the dining room a lovely dining table with ample seating. A fire pit and grill are available outside. The artwork is eclectic and obtained over the years personally, so please take care, and I am housing part of my father's library, so please do not disturb. We have wonderful retiree neighbors, the reason parties and events are not permitted, so please be respectful. The house is a short walk to Bryan High School, 1.5 miles to the Brazos Center, 5 miles to Veteran's Park, 7.5 miles to Texas A&M University, and 14 miles to Santa's Wonderland! The neighborhood opens onto Briarcrest Drive which leads to Hwy 6 (the By-pass), and fast access to anywhere, whether that be Texas A&M University, or Messina Hof Winery!
