Juliana Hotel Brussels

Stayed for three nights and had a lovely stay, only problem was the lifts weren't working the morning I was due to check out anyway, but besides that this hotel is a hidden gem in the city centre in Place des Martyrs. Rogier station is just a few minutes walk through the shopping centre, for airport bus, train and metro connections. I specifically chose Juliana as this hotel has a swimming pool and wellness facilities, with a mini gym and not many hotels in Brussels have pools. The room I requested was a quiet room on high floor away from lifts, room 306. Very comfortable, but be aware that the large top window brings in a lot of light, you need to ask to get it closed away or it will be very light. It's wonderful to provide Milton Brown toiletries and I enjoyed the Nespresso style coffee and teas provided. Housekeeping were helpful, I lost an earring in the bathroom basin and one of the ladies help recover it, so merci to her for her assistance. Pool, sauna and steam room are great, but be aware that there is no changing area, so go directly down to basement ready changed and wear slippers provided in the bathroom drawers. Staff were very helpful and friendly, I would definitely stay here again if I return to Brussels.

We stayed for 2 nights in hotel Juliana- the staff were incredibly welcoming. The hotel rooms were immaculate- we had a slight issue and were given an upgrade without charge. The decor is so beautiful and the pillows were the fluffiest I've ever felt. The square the hotel is situated is very picturesque but is currently under construction. A street to the right as you come out of the hotel does not feel very safe, however the street to the left felt much safer and very quickly brought us to the central location among a popular shopping street. The hotels location is convenient. I needed to store milk in the hotel freezer and the staff were incredibly accommodating with this request. The spa area was beautiful, the steam room was not working unfortunately. Overall a wonderful stay

The staff were helpful, I had a good nights sleep. I enjoyed using the spa, pool and steam room. It felt like home. Good value for money and near centre of town!. It is a well run hotel with the staff very focused on guest comfort and wellbeing. Would recommend it for business trip or city break. It really is one of the best small hotels in the world !

I originally booked a stay for 6 nights at the Juliana Hotel because I kept reading terrific reviews for this hotel online, and then when my airline changed my flight itinerary, I booked an additional night through a third-party website. Sadly, while the room and location were quite beautiful, I found the staff here to be incredibly disorganized and unknowledgeable and I have truly never been more disappointed with a hotel experience in my life. Upon check-in, I distinctly remember asking Nina how much the laundry service cost and I was informed that it was at no extra cost, which stuck out to me because I have never stayed in a hotel where laundry was included. At check-out, however, Natalia spent several minutes attempting to charge me for this service before agreeing to waive the fees as Nina had admitted it was her miscommunication. Unfortunately I was later charged for them anyways, and when I called the hotel, Natalia now insists she informed me of these fees during my stay despite never mentioning that during check-out or before she agreed to waive my fees. My room was also initially billed for teas, a Caesar salad, and parking among other things which I never purchased. On my final night, I went to the front desk at around 5 am to ask for water and there was not a single receptionist in sight. I rang the call bell and waited around for a while before deciding to walk behind the desk and grab a water bottle myself. Later, I asked the front desk to book my ride for the airport and was told the price of the taxi would be €60, only for me to subsequently be charged €80 when the ride was over. It is truly baffling that any place which advertises itself as a luxury hotel would hire staff that are so uninformed and would leave the front desk unattended. Be careful about staying here and make sure to ask for an itemized receipt at check-out because this hotel will bill you for things you never agreed to pay for.

The experience couldn't get worse. Unauthorised room visits by reception members when advised not to disturb. Asking huge amounts of money on top of room fare to cover potential damages, not even single drink available at the room, no security- things get stolen in your room and they let you call them 100 times without any compensation, not even any apology emails , they chase and harass you to your room to sign their non-smoking policy, interrogate you to give your passport and a disgusting front desk management who tell you they listened to you enough. They have 0 respect towards the time and circumstances of the guests. All in all - it is a disgrace - nothing to do with luxury. Never again! Nothing to do with luxury. On top of all it is in the middle of construction site ! The only thing not so terrible is the breakfast! RUN AWAY ..

We had lunch at the influence restaurant, where we were taken care of by Olivier and the chef. They both provided exceptional service, deserving of a five-star rating. Olivier was not only friendly and helpful, but he also served us with a warm smile. The chef personally took our orders and even came out later to ensure everything was to our liking. The food was absolutely incredible, with the beef and sea bass being cooked to perfection. Without a doubt, I highly recommend this place if you happen to be in Brussels.

Water is leaking through the windows, there are puddles of water on the window sill. The rain shower is leaking so the ceiling plaster is disintegrating. There is mold on the windows. The breakfast was good and the employees are friendly.
