Stanhope Hotel Brussels by Thon Hotels

Tout correct, tres classique hotel.

This a sumptuous hotel in the heart of Brussels. Some of the surrounding streets are a bit down-at-heel to be honest, but it is close Musee Square and the parliament buiding. It is a short taxi ride from the Eurostar and has generous public lobby areas. The bar area is small but there is also a billiard table and lots of discreet seating areas laid out thoughtfully for conversations. The room is well equipped with desk, chair and wardrobe hanging space. The bed is large and comfortable and dark when curtains are pulled. Despite being roadside, my room was very quiet and I slept well. The breakfast room has some lovely oriental murals and decor and the food options were truly varied, with cooked options and pastries. The waiting staff were really attentive, it felt more like lunch service with the level of attention to details. A nice touch is the quirky bookcase lift and the automatic doors in the hallways which is really helpful when carrying luggage.

Great hotel. Impecable treatment. Best of the British style in the heart of Brussels. All was perfect. The breakfast not so big, but well served and delicious. The room was perfect. If I have to say something negative, maybe the pillow was to rigid for my taste...

A luxurious hotel in a quiet and very accessible area.Staff are very accommodating and very friendly. The room was spacious and spotless with luxurious amenities and Molton Brown toiletries.Breakfast was exceptional, special thanks to Josue and Eric for their outstanding service 😊.

A very pleasant stay. Staffs are very professional and helpful. I would like to personally thank to Marta, the receptionist for her above- and -beyond customer service. Room was clean, neat and furnished with beautiful furnitures. I really enjoyed the sauna. This hotel is very well deserved its 5 stars. I will look back to my experience in Brussels with fonding memories about Standhope hotel.

I would highly recommend this hotel. The room is nice and clean. Plenty of space. Nice products in the room Also bathrobe and slippers The staff are kind and helpful especially Josue in the breakfast room. He was excellent and very kind and pleasant Thank you Josue 💐 Delicious food also. I am leaving the hotel in the morning but definitely will be back

Awesome hotel! We were so pleased with everything about it. This is a perfect location and a marvelously friendly yet well-appointed place. They deserve every one of their 5 stars. We enjoyed cocktails at the bar every night, both bartenders were really good and friendly, the room was perfect (and large by European standards especially), and in short, one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in.

We had a great stay at the Stanhope. Everything about the hotel felt high end from the moment you arrived. Set in a lovely building, the reception area was very welcoming and the staff upon check in were great, very friendly and personable. In fact, every member of staff we interacted with went out of their way to accommodate your needs. As it was birthday we were given a room upgrade with chocolates in, which was a nice touch. We had a lovely, high ceiling room with big windows, the lounge and bedroom of which was furnished with high end feeling furniture. We had a large bed which was super comfortable. Although not bad by any stretch, the large bathroom did not live up to the same standard as the rest of the room. The location is a little out of the main area of Brussels, more near the European parliament which meant it was quiet of a weekend, but that was no issue for us. A 20 minute walk to the Grand Palace. We did not eat at the hotel so cannot comment on this; there are a few areas for brunch and bakeries within walking distance. We really enjoyed the Stanhope and hope to return some day.

Really gorgeous room with quirky features throughout. Breakfast buffet was great with plenty of other options available to order. Hotel itself was beautiful and full of character. Would recommend. Maybe a 20 min walk to grand place. Was staying for work in the museum district so it was very suitable.
