Nice little hotel on main road for quick stop off staff friendly!

Despite the bleak surroundings thos is a gem. Rachel could not have been more helpful, rooms are spacious clean and quiet.

Was not real what it said on the website. Ask for a disabled room and it wasn’t very disabled friendly

Stayed here for a wedding, very basic room but has all you would need. Asked for an Iron and Ironing board and additional pillows by a receptionist called Nikki, very polite and cheerful and speedy. She also helped my wife with local shops that had dresses and make up as she forgot her outfit for the wedding. Went above and beyond the usual expectation and always smiling. The hotel does need a refresh and very outdated but is clean and surprisingly quite despite being of the A63. Doesn't have a bar or restaurant but does have a mini breakfast box. Nikki also handed us a list of recommendations of restaurants in the local area for food as well as travel information. Very useful tool for the area

Similar style to one we stayed at in Nuneaton recently. Location is on the main A road. Noisy if you stay at the front road facing. Normally don’t hear the road but did in this one. Windows likely need replacing. Couldn’t see any CCTV covering car park as there are normally. Carpets throughout looked like need replacing and a bit of a smell in the room when came back later in day with windows closed. Room facilities such as location and number of plugs is lacking. No USB points. Bathroom door needs replacing as door expanded likely from steam and wouldn’t shut. Plus side. Cheaper hotel like due to the above. Back of hotel could hear the road. Nice lovely staff (Nikki) who helped us move room on arrival and hearing the noise as booked multiple nights. Also sorted lack of towels etc with a smile and friendliness. Get what you pay for.

I've stayed at this Travelodge a number of times for work and have always found it clean & tidy. I once left my hoodie there and the staff very kindly retrieved it from the room and posted it to my home address! Very much appreciated that. If there was to be one complaint it would be the damp smell in the bathroom.
