Very clean hotel with good sized rooms and variety of options at breakfast. We found the bed a little soft - but everyone will have their own views on beds. Check in was very smooth and quick. Overall a good option for those looking to stay in Lillehammer.

Loved our stay here. The room was comfortable and clean. The area is quiet from distracting noise. Service from check in to check out was above and beyond what I expected. So friendly and helpful! Breakfast had a nice variety and the "light dinner" was much more than we expected! We were pleasantly surprised by the accommodations and the value. We stayed an extra night as we were so happy with the hotel and all of the things to visit and see within walking distance. Highly recommend.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the bed soft. Staff were friendly and helpful and the evening meal was included in the price as well as the breakfast. Food was very nice, and there were a few options for parking (payable separately).

We stopped here for one night while exploring the area. The hotel was absolutely fine and everything was clean. The rooms were a bit larger than some we stayed in on our trip and everything (including the wifi) worked well. The included breakfast was reasonable but nothing special. This is a good place to stop for a single night when driving around the area.

Good atmosphere in the center of Lillehammer. Located within walking distance of many of the sights in Lillehammer. Easy to park the car outside or in a heated garage. Breakfast, coffee in the afternoon and supper included in the stay.

We had hoped that our order would be a good solution to our dinner, but unfortunately this was not the case. I would like to request you to fix this issue as we are customers who appreciate your quality of service. Thank you for your attention and we await your response.” «Kjære hotellteam, jeg vil gjerne uttrykke min skuffelse over maten vi nylig bestilte. Spesielt var rødbetene ukokte og maten var uærlig. Vi hadde håpet at vår bestilling skulle være en god løsning på middagen vår, men det var dessverre ikke tilfelle. We came just after dinner had closed but the staff made us something to eat and allowing us to sit and eat. Very welcome ster an 8 hour drive. They kept checking if we needed more or if we needed anything. Such friendly staff. Rooms are basic but perfect for the night. Rest of the hotel is cozy and at a good location. Breakfast was sufficient. Would stay here again!

After a difficult start where the receptionist was impatient and unfriendly even though there were no other guests in the queue, the stay at the Clarion Hammer was excellent. The rest of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is centrally located but a little off the pedestrianised area. The car had a reserved space in the underground car park. Our deluxe room was large and well maintained, but the furnishings were a bit spartan. There were also only a few storage options in the bathroom. The fika coffee time with cake in the afternoon was very good, as was the dinner included in the price in the evening.

I chose this motel based on its reviews. We have been traveling though Iceland, Denmark, Sweden and now Norway, which tends to be pretty expensive. This motel offers dinner and breakfast for 2 in addition to the room. First, parking was easy. Lillehammer is a wonderful place and we parked right out front and is just a few yards down the street from downtown. The room is large and clean with a desk and other areas to unpack your bags. The dinner was pork, pesto, mushroom soup, salad and a shrimp dish which I didn't eat. This is not s Michelin restaurant but I paid $160 US for this place and the dinner alone saved us $40 or more. Breakfast was also wonderful. They also put out coffee and a sweet at 3-5pm daily. I truly think this motel is one of my favorite places I have stayed in Scandinavia and if you are going to Lillehammer I definitely strongly recommend staying here and would stay here again anytime.
