The Bridges B&B

I stayed for one night at The Bridges and wish I had stayed longer. The Bridges is a delightful B&B and Lesley and Steve are very welcoming hosts. The house is beautifully decorated and feels homely and my room was perfect, smelt lovely and had everything you could wish for: a very comfortable bed and pillows, crisp clean bedding, a variety of teas, biscuits, chocolate and bottles of water. I always look forward to breakfast and it did not disappoint. Everything is beautifully laid out and there is lovely music in the background. There is enough to set you up for the rest of the day: fresh fruit, fresh juices, cereals and dried fruit, fresh toasts and preserves and a lovely cooked breakfast. Breakfast is served in Lesley and Steve’s beautiful dining room. The Bridges is a great base to explore Northumberland and the perfect place to come back to after a busy day. Your hosts will give you recommendations of what to do and where to eat. I highly recommend it.

Beautiful and relaxing. Bedding lovely nice touches in room like chocolates water and biscuits. Plenty toiletries too. Breakfast amazing again with little extras. Steve and Lesley were so friendly and helpful. Buses are good but if we were to stay longer maybe better with a car. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Stayed here for a couple of nights while viewing houses in the area. Lesley and Steve are the loveliest hosts - so friendly and helpful and full of ideas and local knowledge. Our en suite room had every comfort you could want. Large comfortable bed and quality bedding. Lovely well appointed bathroom with complimentary toiletries. The breakfast was fabulous. Enough on offer to set you up until late in the day. Fresh fruit and juices, any combination of cooked breakfast goodies you could want, fresh toast and preserves - all served at the lovely big breakfast table in their comfortable home. The Bridges is in a great location for touring Northumberland. Easy access to the A1 and 5 minutes drive to a fabulous beach and country park at Druridge Bay. Lots to do in the area - and then a warm welcome on your return after a busy day. Overall - first class and a great introduction to the area from two interesting and well travelled, friendly and engaging hosts. Many thanks to you both 😊👍

Spent Three nights at this superb B&B. The hosts Steve and Lesley were lovely, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble, the room was spotless and a very comfy bed. Breakfast was very good too, set us up for the day. All in all a lovely relaxing few days away.

This was the most amazing bed and breakfast we have ever stayed at. Lesley and Steve are so welcoming. Their home is beautiful our double room with en-suite was beautiful. The breakfast was superb. We will definitely be returning. Sandra snd Rob Casey

Excellent B&B! Hosts were very welcoming, provided secure storage for our bikes and gave us information on bus times and nearby restaurants. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was comfortable and very well stocked with a selection of toiletries, various teas and bottles of water. Superb breakfast. Highly recommended.
