Oak Tree Rooms Ltd

This is the fourth time I have stayed, to enjoy the beauty of the forest and get out exploring and take photos. Paulina and Bruno have always made my stay very comfortable and made me feel welcome. I have never had an issue with noise from other guests in their rooms and have always found my room to be absolutely spotless! My only “complaint” I can’t stay for longer in this lovely guest house as l still need to go to work, but I’ll be back again soon to see the seasons changing in the beautiful New Forest from this friendly base I’ve found.

This is our happy place. Close amenities. Very comfortable rooms. Lovely shower. Peaceful with no awareness of other guests. We always sleep well. Seasoned travellers with good knowledge of the area. Look forward to the next time. What’s not to love. ❤️

There was too much noise and lots of people were sleeping next door. Since the walls were too thin we could hear everything. The central heating also made it too hot for us to sleep and it was very uncomfortable. The fans were covered in dust and I have a dust allergy so I could not use them

Lovely room, great location a couple of minites walk from town, pubs, restaurants. I don’t have anything else to say but TripAdvisor forces me to write reviews that are at least 200 characters long which is very annoying. Isn’t 100 characters enough?

Location good, it was clean, wifi included, tea/coffee available, lovely shower. Expensive for what it was, no staff available only contact by text. Not nice for ParkRunners as checkout 10am so no time to shower afterwards. Parking pot luck. 5 spaces for 7 rooms. Plug for kettle didn’t allow kettle to lie flat. No biscuits! Only a heavy quilt on the bed no alternatives. It was too hot. We slept with just the quilt cover but this was too cold.

We visited the New Forest in August 2024 and originally decided to move from one accommodation to the next in the little villages. Little did we know that we would love staying at the Oak Tree Rooms so much that we'd extend stay for much longer than we thought - for five days in total, making up all of our New Forest holiday. It's an excellent spot for a multitude of reasons: logistically, Brockenhurst and the location of Oak Tree Rooms is great to be able to visit the rest of the forest using public transport, and there's good pubs and food to be had. But more importantly, the accommodation itself is brilliant: we stayed in a clean, bright room with a patio into a private, quiet internal garden (shared with other tenants but still private!). Everything was excellent: the hosts were amazing. When we shared feedback that the bed was uncomfortable, they took the feedback on board like nothing I've seen before - they immediately bought the bed a memory foam topper, shipped it in in one day, and got it installed as fast as they could. That made the bed amazing to sleep on and made the stay even better. It's well organised, quiet, clean, and the hosts are amazing, in a beautiful spot in the New Forest. Can't ask for more - would definitely stay there again and am thankful for such great hosts! Highly recommended.
