Premier Inn Bristol South

Stayed in a family room. Room was clean, beds comfortable. Had evening meal and breakfast at the restaurant. Excellent service on both reception and in the restaurant. Our family group was very well looked after. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

Had no issues other than I wish I could see my car in the front car park Room nice and quiet with no issues at all Bed nice Wish we had a long sofa in the room instead of 1 chair no where to sit for my hubby Staff are lovely had a laugh with them Would definitely come again thank you

Booked time away with my son and had thought id booked a family room. On arrival we had been given a twin room with a ziplink double bed split into 2 singles. the lady who greeted us wasn't very helpful but i didnt wan't it tot ruin the trip away so tried to make the most of it. I was then whoever bitten badly on both nights resulting in a terrible sleep and stay. The Manageress did apologies in the morning and did her best to give me all the contact info to help resolve the issue. Hopefully i get a reply this time and can continue to use this hotel again as i have many times before.

On checking in staff weren’t very helpful speaking between themselves and just passed paper over saying sign here ! Then said go through door turn right that was it very miserable. Rooms nice and clean and everything you need but the bath/shower is very high would be very difficult to get in and out of for older people or people with disabilities.the dinner hall was chaos only two staff was 45 mins queuing just to order food then 1/2 hour before it came the guy serving was very happy but so overworked I felt sorry for him

I stayed at this Premier Inn on the 3rd of April, checking out on the 4th. The next morning, I realised I had left my GHD hair straighteners in the room and promptly contacted the hotel reception. After some time, they advised that the straighteners had not been found by housekeeping. I raised a complaint, but Premier Inn continued to delay a response as the room was booked on a corporate account through my employer. Beware if staying at this 'hotel' ensure you do not leave property behind as no doubt it will not be returned if anything of value.

We have stayed at this hotel several times and it’s has always proved comfortable and convenient for visiting our daughter. One gripe is that as we get older having a shower over a bath is getting increasingly difficult and concerning about slipping as there are no handrails or bath mats provided It’s about time they converted them to walk in showers as this will deter us in the future as accidents can easily occur with this type of shower.

Decent hotel and very friendly staff always a nice stay when visiting Bristol, mattresses can do with replacing in some of their rooms, been in a few. Avoid 119 if possible

Towels were tired and frayed, radiator rusty, fan too noisy as on ground floor window hardly opened very hot couple of days in 23c, room not crisp looking as per advertised

I stayed at this hotel due to its location for Hengrove Swimming pool. I had initially booked just one night, but then I added on a second night on a different booking reference. I was also travelling with another family in the same situation. On arrival, we were greeted by a very welcoming receptionist. I asked if I could keep the same room for the duration of my stay. The receptionist took a look but said that there was something preventing her on the system, but to check back in the morning. The next morning I was greeted by another friendly receptionist, and when I asked the same question, it was revealed that the initial lady had sent over a text. Between them they had ensured we could keep our rooms for the extra day (which made our lives so much easier) We had a long day at the swim meet, and when we came back to the hotel, another receptionist was at the desk with a box of chocolates. The lady engaged with the children, asking how the competition went & offered out the bars of chocolate. She was incredibly friendly and engaging. My friend had a problem with her sink plug, and the receptionist shortly went in to rectify this issue for her. I can honestly say, that in terms of customer service, this hotel provided a masterclass. Huge kudos to whoever is at the helm, because it’s a fantastic environment to be around. The hotel itself was great, it was clean & the location was ideal for walking over to the pool. We ate at the brewers Fayre both nights. It was busy with variety of customers, again the staff were friendly and it was a convenient place to easily grab food and a drink. My hotel room was on the front. It was a little noisy in the night due to a group of lads out on the carpark, so I’d recommend requesting a room on the back if you are sensitive to noise. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back to this hotel again in the future
