Element Melbourne Oceanfront

We just came back from another wonderful long weekend trip to the Element Melbourne Oceanfront resort. This is our 4th time staying here in the past year and already have another reservation booked next month. There are so many reasons why we keep returning. The staff is wonderful, always professional with a welcoming smile. The property itself is beautiful with outstanding views of the ocean. There is an oceanfront pool on the second level with food and bar service. We love the oceanfront rooms with great views. The rooms are perfectly appointed, very clean, well-stocked and environmentally friendly. No plastic water bottles here! Each room has a separate spicket at the sink for filtered water with a glass bottle to fill for storing. We love the food and beverage service too! Complimentary breakfast is not the usual boring hotel buffet. Each morning there are two hot options. Usually, one is something made with eggs (lots of variations) and the other has been pancakes or French Toast. Besides that, there are lots of other options like fruit, bagels, muffins, toast, cereal and a Chobani yogurt bar. Again, you won’t see the plastics or disposable plates here. Everything is served on proper plates with regular flatware. It is the same outside at restaurant and pool area. The drinks are served in reusable plastic drinkware. It is hard to notice that the wine glasses are made of plastic! The only time we received a disposable plastic cup is when we were taking a drink to the beach. BTW, the bartender Emily makes a great Bloody Mary! The valet parking attendants are so nice and polite, especially Michael and Hutch. They were always going out of their way to make us feel welcome. The beach rental workers couldn’t have been more attentive. Warrick and his crew had us set-up each day with chairs and an umbrella. They also offer surfing lessons. Some stars from our last visit: Hutch and Micheal (valets), Deyla and Arcenio (front desk), Barbara and Emily (bar area), Jerry (fixed an outlet in less than 5 minutes of reporting it!), and the GM David who runs a well-organized operation!

May 2025: Met with the "Manager" named Jacob.. waited entirely way to long, for him to even begin our 1:1.. this was for PT bar gig (which he said he had immediate openings for) basically, hired me on the spot and said to expect forms for me to fill out- within a two or two and will be sent to my gmail account.. waited for a while and then called back.. Jacob was not there and took a message for me.... waited a few more weeks.. called back and Jacob wasn't available.. just a horrible way with customer service and dealing with people wanting / needing work... whoever hired Jacob... you should be disappointed!! Aug 2025 still nothing.... not a good look!

Hotel was great. Room layout was great.....plenty of extra room. Breakfast was simple but good. Josh at the valet stand was a pleasure to work with. Fantastic attitude and service. A true professional!

Visiting from Orlando. Josh at Valet was very welcoming and even gave us restaurant recommendations. Gia and Evelyn at the front desk were super friendly and accommodating with my room request. The hotel is in the perfect location on the beach. My second time here and it’s always a memorable visit. We’ll be back in October!!

Great customer service from front guest, Deyia was most helpful in answering any questions we had about our stay. Spacious clean room . Great pool area . Pool service was nice and enjoyed our dining at Ebb and Flow.

Very nice, smaller hotel right on the Melbourne beach. It is newer and rather modern and minimalist, but nice. The rooms are on the small side, but you will be at the pool or on the beach anyhow. Excellent breakfast and evening appitizers. The pool was great but the drinks are pricey. You can watch rocket launches from the pool balcony!
