A real gem of a place, minutes walk from the centre of Brecon town. Gail, the hostess, was very welcoming and a delight to chat with. We only stayed for one night, but would have no hesitation in recommending it as a great place. The room we occupied was the 'accessible' room, with a wet room. Towels and toiletries were provided, along with a hairdryer. Tea and coffee was readily available to make in the bedroom. Gail provided a small thermos of cold milk. A great night's sleep was achieved due to the fabulous comfort of the mattress (it made me realise that our mattress at home probably needs to be changed!). Breakfast was served between 8am and 9am and consisted of cereals, toast, a full cooked breakfast, along with orange juice, tea and coffee. Overall, this B& was a delightful surprise and the history of the building is summarised in the guest information booklet in the room - well worth a read!
