Motel 6 Bradenton, FL

The staff seemed friendly enough. But I was locked out of my room because the door knob stopped working. They were unable to open it that evening. While they were able to provide another room, I had to spend the night without my belongings, including my toiletries, chargers, and medication. They pried the door open the next morning, and I was able to collect my belongings. (But since the door wasn't fixed, it wasn't like I could go get coffee and then come back to freshen up.) So if you stay here, definitely lock and bolt from the inside, and don't leave anything important when you are away. That alone made it a terrible experience, but the rooms were not taken care of. One room did not have a fridge, and the water didn't drain very quickly in the bathtub. The air conditioning barely seemed to work. In the other room, there was a very strong, unpleasant odor--I'm not sure what it was. Honestly, I only stayed because it was late, and I was tired from traveling, and I had more driving the next day. I was not offered a refund because they said they were unable to when booking through a third party. I was offered a free stay next time, but I don't plan on using it.

Dont be put off by the exterior the rooms are clean and the staff was very helpful. Will be going back whenever im in town.

It was nice that there was no additional fee for our dogs and the morning coffee only available in the lobby was decent. However, I do not an to stay there again. Something was wrong with ourdoor. It wouldn't shut without slamming it shut. I would never use the bathtub. It was disgusting and in need of, at minimum, refinishing. There was hardly any water pressure at the sink

I stayed here with my husband for about 2 weeks. The office staff was nice Cheyenne did everything she could to make the stay easier. They are in a great location near waffle house, sonny's, cracker Barrel. Now on the other hand the house cleaners umm not so good. My husband accidentally left trash outside the door and at one point the sheet got dirty. She knocks on our door screaming housecleaning. I open the door and this house cleaner big girl w/blonde hair was screaming at me this is unacceptable. You can't leave trash here. The problem is there were no signs anywhere telling us where to put the trash. Afterwards I was very worried.

I am saddened to have to leave a review this terrible. I was trying to stay on a budget and while reviewing how much I would pay per night it fit in my price range, but I guess you get what you pay for. I also did a lot of research on it using *******’s reviews. This place is one that you see long-term tenants. Even the quality inn nearby was more upscale. They do allow pets there as well. I think this encourages the long-term stay. Upon arriving to our room before we even set anything down we arrive to beds made and the floors disgusting and definitely not being cleaned. The refrigerator was pulled out away from the wall. My husband went to try and move it back and was examining the floor. And my daughter saw a bug. When he went to move the refrigerator, a bunch of roaches started running. They ran back under the refrigerator obviously. At that point we were all grossed out and we got a refund immediately. Thank goodness we didn’t put our items down lol. The staff was nice and very accommodating. They didn’t want us to stay but at that point if there’s one roach there are several. We ended up having to pay a little more per night because there were barely any vacancies anywhere else. Unanimous thumbs down.. I especially if you do not want to bring any little friends home!

The front desk people were awesome on both check in and check out. Especially when I locked my room key, the front desk gladly reset it with no hesitation.

The customer service could better the communication with the guest about their services... There was fleas in the room I was in.

Room was ok bed ok. But floor especially between beds had not been swept. Chair was full of some crumbs of some type

Bugs in the room. No soap, shampoo, hangers or hot water in the shower. I know it was a motel 6 and it is a budget hotel. Still spent $155 per night. I complained to the girl at the desk after the first of 2 nights. She said she would send maintenance. Never happened.
