Enjoy great bass fishing from the private dock, canoe, paddle board, or simply relax on the large porch overlooking the water. Many great hiking trails nearby and it's easy access to grocery stores and farmer's market. The camp has plenty of space with 3 bedrooms and a great big porch for outdoor dining. The space is perfect for unwinding - listen to the loons, and sit by the outdoor fire pit...beautiful in all seasons!ABOUT THE SPACE:It is a split-level and very spacious for your next family getaway!* Main Floor:The clean and spacious kitchen has everything you need for an easy stay - pots & pans, many cooking utensils, coffee pot, tea kettle, waffle-maker, lobster pot, children's dish-ware, wine glasses, dish towels, and more. * Dining:There is a dining table with six chairs and a bench for additional seating (table leaf available if needed). * Outdoor Dining: The large deck overlooking the pond is perfect for outdoor entertaining and cooking. Enjoy grilling and relaxing under the birch trees with amazing water views. The deck is a favorite spot to unwind with your coffee or a glass of wine! * Living Room:The main living space is bright and inviting, with great views of the water and access to the porch, which creates an indoor/outdoor feel. It has a smart TV and pull-out sofa (with a full-size mattress). * Bathroom:Down the hall, there is a full bath with a newly remodeled shower with plenty of storage (linens included). Also included: Shampoo/Conditioner/Kid's Soap/Bodywash/Hair Dryer.*Primary bedroom:Next to the bathroom is a spacious primary bedroom with a comfortable queen bed with organic cotton linens, a spacious closet, and a dresser. *Basement Level:There are stairs leading to the basement level. There you will find a second living room with a large, comfy sofa. There is easy access from the walkout basement to the backyard and pond. Great for coming in and out after enjoying the outdoors. The basement living room is great for kids with plenty of board games, puzzles, and space to play. We recently added a second Smart TV to the basement.*Additional Bedrooms:Two additional bedrooms are on the basement level. The second bedroom is cozy, with a queen-sized bed (w/ cotton linens) and plenty of extra blankets. There is a garment rack and dresser.The other basement-level bedroom is perfect for adults or kids. It has two twin beds, a large closet, and a dresser. All linens included. * Laundry Room:There is a small laundry room in the basement with a washing machine and dryer. Detergent provided.*Outdoors:Outside you can enjoy the large yard, expansive deck, private dock, and outdoor fire pit. We currently have 2 kayaks, 2 canoes, and 1 stand-up paddleboard for guests. Dexter Pond is a hidden gem with minimal boat traffic. The fishing is great and the water is calm (and warm!), making it ideal for kayaking and paddle boarding. Water levels of the pond vary, but it tends to be shallow with some vegetation only directly in front of the camp. Once out on the pond, the water is nice and clear for swimming. We recommend stand-up paddle boarding or relaxing on a float in the water!*Other Amenities:- Yoga Mats- Stand Up Paddleboard- Kayaks- Canoes- Fire pit - wood providedThe camp comfortably sleeps 6, however, it can accommodate up to 8 guests (with the pull-out sofa and futon).The camp would also make a great space for long-term renters - looking for some peace, but close to other area amenities. A desk can be added if needed. Our property is a must-stay in all seasons!OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:The cottage is not a party-rental. It's a perfect place to unwind, reconnect, and enjoy the outdoors. We ask that renters are respectful of this for us and our neighbors.The cottage is on a well-maintained dirt road. Guests are asked to drive slow. There is a small narrow bridge that you must cross to get to the home. It is completely safe and rest assured that large trucks cross it.Both indoor fireplaces are non-functional.Because the cottage is a split level, please be aware that it may not be suitable for families with babies. There is a stairway inside from the main level to basement as well as a large deck on the second level of the home.Access to the pond is down a sloped hill - not suitable for guests with mobility issues.About pets:No pets allowed.About checkOut:Check out before 10:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.Staircase and raised deck. Winding staircase through the woods down to our private dock, double kayak, paddleboard, water trampoline. Back deck with hot tub, gas grill and firepit. With 4 luxurious bedrooms including 2 king bedroom suites, a bedroom with 2 twin beds, and a bedroom with 1 set of bunk beds, this gorgeous property offers a peaceful retreat for guests of all ages. Enjoy the convenience of 3 full bathrooms, including a bathtub, and a cozy newly finished game room with woodstove. In the winter, enjoy ice fishing, skiing, hiking, s'mores and a hot tub soak when you stay at our place. GORGEOUS clear lake with brand new dock, easy access to the lake, water trampoline, paddleboard, water floats, kayak and clean, "drinkable" fresh water for swimming and water activities. This home is perfect for sunny spring days and cozy evenings around the firepit listening to the loons. Lots of space and brand-new comfortable beds. Supplied with all linens and towels. All rooms have overhead fans and all windows have screens. Washer/dryer on main floor. Expansive back deck with hot tub, conversational seating, dining table, gas grill, umbrella and trails for kids to explore!!!The lake house features four bedrooms, 3 on the main floor which have air conditioning, and one on the newly finished lower level. The home sleeps eight comfortably, with WiFi access, Roku TV, a well-stocked kitchen, a hot tub, ample parking, fire pit, paddleboard, double kayak, lounges and floats, water trampoline, gas grill and a gorgeous back deck overlooking the water... perfect for relaxing. However, due to our private septic system we are limiting our number of guests to 6.In the fall, winter and spring, enjoy hiking, ice fishing, skiing (we are 30-60 minute drive from several ski resorts) and relaxing in the hot tub and game night around the woodstove or toasting marshmallows around the fire pit. The main floor has the master king suite with adjoining bathroom and walk in closet, a second bedroom with twin beds, a third bedroom with bunk beds, kitchen, living room, dining area, laundry room and second bathroom with a tub. The lower level offers one king bedroom suite, and a great room (couches to be added by spring of 2025) with a rug and a game table. The back deck is off the main level and has a large table for dining with an umbrella, a gas grill, conversational seating area and a hot tub. Plenty of hiking trails nearby, wildlife, fishing, ski resorts, vintage shopping and antiquing in the local towns. You can also take a day trip to one of the fabulous ocean beaches, about one hour drive. Don't forget to pick up fresh eggs along your drive in! There's also a local farm (The Milkhouse) which sells raw milk and other dairy products. Notes:Pets are not permitted at this time.Smoking is not permitted.
