The Good Life Mountain Home, 15 minutes from Red Rocks Amphitheater, is a cozy bohemian mountain home with all the best vibes! Our intention is to provide you with a comfortable, peaceful place to stay in a beautiful setting. We welcome respectful friends, couples, families, and travelers to enjoy the fresh mountain air, private hot tub, and wellness room. Located in the hills of Morrison at 8,300 ft, minutes from Evergreen, beautiful hikes, restaurants, and much more! This home is located on 2 acres of beautiful mountain land. You're very likely to see some wildlife while staying here with everything from Deer (including baby fawns in the summer), wild Turkeys, Moose, Elk, lizards, foxes, and maybe even a bobcat!✤ Private Hot Tub, Sauna, wellness room✤ 15 minutes from Red Rocks Amphitheater✤ 15 minutes from downtown Evergreen✤ 3 beds: 2 kings, 1 queen✤ Full kitchen to host any meal✤ 2 spacious decks and 1 balcony✤ Private home with beautiful Mountain Views✤THE DRIVE WAY ✤It has a relatively steep, paved driveway that requires 4x4 vehicles in the winter from October to May. Even though we are a short drive from the front range highways, the road heading up to the house is steep and winding. Please be prepared in the winter months.✤PET POLICY ✤We absolutely love animals but unfortunately can not have them in the house or on the property.✤NEIGHBORHOOD ✤This home is located in a beautiful, peaceful, quiet neighborhood. Please be mindful of the towns quiet hours from 10pm to 7am and the surrounding neighbors.Guest access:Guests have the entire home to themselves including a private backyard space with a hot tub.Other things to note:Our home is located at 8,300ft in elevation and is usually about 10 degrees cooler than the Denver area. The snowy season can start as early as September but usually doesn't go into full swing until November & December. That being said, Colorado has 300 days of blue skies and sun shine, so any time of the year is beautiful up here in the mountains!If you are traveling during the months of November- May, we recommend a 4x4 vehicle.We maintain our driveway very well in the winter, but just like all the other mountain homes in the area, the snow is out of our control and it's best to be prepared as possible.If snow is in the forecast or is happening during your stay, we will make sure the drive way is cleared and decks are shoveled. Because the drive way is paved, snow will have to be removed as needed!House Rules:-No smoking of any kind on the premises in accordance with all Jefferson County short term rental rules. -No pets allowed -Quite hours are between 10pm - 7am-No parties or events allowed-No more than 6 guests maximum-Only registered guest are allowed at the home.-Absolutely no fires permitted on the property. This includes fireworks, sparklers, etc.-Please bag all trash and empty them into the provided bear proof bins. -Absolutely no unattended food at any time. We live in a highly populated area of bears, elk, deer, moose, and other animals.-No illegal activities-All wheel drive or 4x4 drive is highly suggested from the months of October to May.-No more than 5 cars allowed on the property and no street parking-Children must be under adult supervision at all time-Our neighbors are friendly people, so please be respectful of outside noise and activities. Unfortunately, a fine will be applied if we have to mitigate any smoke damage or smell in the property after your stay. Thank you for understanding.- PET POLICY - We bring our two small dogs to the property for our vacations, and you should also be able to. We allow two small dogs during your stay, and there is a nominal pet fee to accommodate our cleaners for their extra work. But please remember that there will be guests enjoying the property after you. With that in mind, please ensure that your pet is FULLY potty trained and that you clean up after your furry friend (inside and outside).- PARTIES -We are a family-friendly property and do not allow parties. If a party is discovered, there will be a fine of $1000 + any damages that occur.- WINTER WEATHER WARNING - This is the Rockies, so you must have an appropriate vehicle (4WD/AWD) when you stay with us in the winter. This is for your safety!- HOME MAINTENANCE TEAM - We have a great team of maintenance workers who might visit the house during your stay. Our Hut tub gets cleaned every Monday, and our trash gets taken out on Thursdays. Our team will do its best to remain discreet, allowing you to enjoy your privacy. We just want to make you aware in case you see them out of the corner of your eye!- RANGER RICK'S WILDLIFE RULES - Many animals are around this area (Deer, Elk, Fox, Coyote, Bear, and more), so please be careful with what you leave outside. We want to refrain from feeding the animals or training them to think they can get a free meal by visiting our property. This can be very dangerous and could harm the animals or another person!- SMOKEY THE BEAR'S WILDFIRE SAFETY - The mountain can be very dry during certain times of year. To prevent forest fires started by people (like the devastating Marshall Wildfire in 2021), we ask that you avoid flames when outdoors whenever possible. Keep the mountain safe for us all!- OUR MOUNTAIN WATER SUPPLY - Like many others in the area, the house has a healthy water supply, so please be cognizant of your water use. Do not take long showers or back-to-back showers, and do not run the faucets unnecessarily. If you have any water problems, feel free to reach out!- AMENITY FUNCTIONALITY - We obviously do everything we can to ensure that every amenity listed is sufficiently cleaned and in proper working order upon your arrival. However, unfortunate circumstances can occur from time to time. If major amenities need to be fixed, we will gladly offer a discount of up to 25% of the nightly stay for each night the amenities are not functioning.- QUIET TIMES - Although this is a reasonably secluded location, there are some neighbors around. As such, we ask that you respect their privacy and their right to a peaceful existence! Specifically, between 10 pm and 8 am, noise should be kept to a minimum. Thank you!- BREAKAGES - Should you break anything, please let us know immediately so we can replace or repair the item quickly. You can rest easy knowing your space is covered with $5,000 in “All-Risk” Damage Protection. Instead of a hefty security deposit, we charge a minimal $149 fee for this level of protection. With “All-Risk” protection, all accidental damage from a guest’s stay is covered unless it’s expressly excluded, such as but not limited to normal wear and tear, infestation, or prior damage.
