Lastly, the dining table lowers into a full bed. The back deck has two loungers for enjoying coffee or wine and watching the seals and harbor activity. The Red Door is a 600sqft open concept one bedroom basement apartment with its own entrance and a Keyless Lock. A fully stocked kitchen, full size fridge and table for four. This apartment will keep you nice in cool in these hot summer months and then step outside and relax under the covered deck, a private fire pit surrounded by solar lights and grill to cook up your dinner. We are located one mile from the heart of downtown Gig Harbor. Walk down to the boat docks, rent paddle boards or kayaks, have the famous fish-n-chips at the Tides Tavern, listen to Tuesday night summer sounds in the park, Thursday's farmers market and stroll the shops. We are about 4 blocks from the Cushman Trail which you can take your pick which end of town you would like to explore, it's about equal distance to either Uptown Shopping center or North GH shopping. We are just 4 miles from Tacoma Narrows Bridge and 20 miles to the Southworth Ferry to Seattle. This property is also ideal for traveling professionals on an out of state project, traveling nurses, graduate college students, people moving into the state and looking for a place to stay while they house shop. Walk straight down to the harbor in 20 minutes and enjoy the breathtaking Harbor while strolling the shops and even stop at the Trolley Food Truck for a bite to eat. The home offers three bedrooms with high-quality beds and bedding to ensure you are rested-1 Cal King , 1 Queen and 1 Full-size. The master bedroom has the Cal King (Picture shows Queen but new bed has been added) with an en-suite bathroom with walk in shower. There is a second bedroom with a full bed and the third bedroom with a queen bed. The second bathroom offers a tub shower accessed from the hall. The bathrooms are fully stocked to provide everything you need on your visit including bath products. This home may not be a fit for guests with mobility challenges. There are stairs from the driveway and stairs to the top level which is the main living area. The family room provides sweeping views with supple leather seating, 50" Smart TV, gas fireplace and a small desk for you to work. Spread out in the dining room for a great meal or game night with a view. The kitchen is stocked with virtually everything you could need including insta-pot, air-fryer, and toaster oven. We do have basic cooking oils and spices. Our coffee and tea bar offer a French Press, Keurig, and drip coffee.
