We basically built a brand-new house inside an old one. The house was taken down to studs and rafters. Walls, bathrooms, and a stairway were all moved and a large fireplace was removed to open up and create a huge living space on both the main-floor and lower level. The home has been remarkably and tastefully decorated with unique mid-century-modern furniture and art pieces that were currated from all over the United States. (For the non-initiated, "mid-century-modern" (MCM) refers to a movement in interior design, product design, graphic design, and architecture that was popular from 1945-1970. Guests will walk up three stairs to access the main entrance of the property. You will then walk up a flight of stairs to your unit. Unit #3 is on two floors. On the main floor is the kitchen, living room, bedroom (queen bed), ensuite bathroom and large private front porch. You will walk up another flight of stairs for the master bedroom (king bed) and ensuite bathroom.
