Coombe House

Our Coombe House experience with our host David was simply amazing. He greeted us with outstanding hospitality and made us feel welcomed and at home. Our room and breakfast was top-notch. Our bed and shower welcoming and relaxing. David provides a first class experience for all his guests. My wife and I have stayed at many hotels and B&B’s over the years, but the Coombe House was #1. Great spot to stay in the charming but busy village of Bourton on the Water. You can appreciate the village and restaurants but stay a short walk away in a quiet and very comfortable home. Parking in the back, excellent breakfast cooked to order in a breakfast room overlooking the front garden and cozy lounge to relax. Best of all (the reason we like to stay in BnBs) David was the perfect welcoming and knowledgeable host. Dining recommendations, walking guides and villages to visit - all spot on. My wife and I would highly recommend staying at the Coombe House.

We stayed at this charming Cotswold home with a great host, and exceptionally clean room and facilities . We loved our 2 night stay. The room had everything we needed-blow dryer, TV, mini fridge, nice touches-electric kettle, tea, milk, bisquets, soaps and hair products. The room was cozy-beautiful sitting table and comfortable beds. The breakfasts were so good with so many choices. The host will accommodate any dietary concerns. We enjoyed scrambled eggs and salmon, pastries, tea/coffee, yogurt, fruits, and the menu has many more offerings. What makes this bed and breakfast extra special is the host, David. He is a wonderful person who made us feel at home the moment we walked in. We can't say enough about his excellent level of service. He is a huge Elvis fan, btw. We had fun chatting about music. This is very close to the High street. It took us about 10 minutes to walk there. It's about 6 minutes to the Model Village and Bird Park. For all these reasons,new highly recommend you book a stay.

When you stay at Coombe House you get much more than an amazing room and breakfast - you get to feel that “coming home”feeling, safe and welcomed. We knew our stay was going to be special from the moment David met us in the driveway. We were ushered into a beautiful front room and served tea and coffee while we were checked in. David made us feel right at home as the quality banter kicked in almost immediately . He gave us great advice about what to go and see and even provided walking and driving maps. The room was lovely and the gardens so inviting with seating dotted around. Breakfast was of a very high standard with all the ingredients sourced fresh every day and cooked to order. David was an amazing and genuine host - when we asked (at short notice) to come back through at the end of our trip he managed to accomodate us even though he was heavily booked. We made a friend in Bourton-on-the-Water and will be back when next in the UK. Highly recommend!

A friend recommended this lovely hotel to us and it did not disappoint. The hotel was set in beautiful gardens and a short stroll into Bourton. David the owner was very welcoming and nothing was to much trouble. The breakfast was delicious and set us up for the day. There was ample safe parking. We would not hesitate to stay at Coombe House again.

Had the most fabulous stay at Coombe House in the beautiful Cotswolds. From the moment we arrived David was the most welcoming and informative host. The breakfast each morning was excellent, and it was lovely sharing tales of our adventures with fellow guests from around the world. The rooms are very cosy with great amenities. A short walk into the beautiful town of Bourton on the Water makes it very easy to explore the village. David was amazing with his knowledge of the local area, suggesting local sights and villages to visit, providing maps and directions. Thanks David for a wonderful stay at Coombe House.
